RHA68 - Finnish VHF mid band metsästys-VHF tai jahti-VHF. RHA68 is the national standard for radio telephones operating in the frequency range 67.500–72.325 MHz in Finland. 67,500 - 72,325 MHz in European frequency notation.

The devices are also known in Finland as hunting VHF or yacht VHF (not to be confused with other similar VHF / UHF services, see below.

VHF FM license free radio service - Finland only. Similar to the Thailand 78 MHz VHF CB allocation, Italian 43 MHz VHF 43 CB service, the Swedish 31 MHz JAKT Radio 31 MHz hunting radio service and Swedish 69 MHz mid-band 69 MHz VHF CB service VHF mid band 66-88 MHz band, FM voice. Very close to the 70 MHz (4-metre) amateur (ham) radio band.

The channels may be referred to by their sequential number or by alphanumeric designation per Finnish law. Power limit is 5 watts for hand-portable stations and 25 watts for mobile stations on all of group A channels and on group E channels 15, 16 and 18–21. Base stations may only be used on group A channels with maximum transmitting power of 15 watts.

FM voice, appears to be standard 4 kHz FM deviation or 5 kHz FM deviation - 16K0F3E or 20K0F3E emission, 25 kHz channels. Odd channel numbering sequence.

VHF mid band - or VHF low band depending on who you ask - channels 67.500 MHz to 72.325 MHz FM - middle of the band is 70 MHz, cf. 72 MHz, 74 MHz and 75 MHz. Falls above and below the 70 MHz or 4-meter amateur band (where available). Finland authorizes 70.0 MHz to 70.3 MHz as the 4 meter band. RHA68 channel 13 (70.200 MHz) falls within this allocation.

Like other license-free services (such as 11-meter 27 MHz CB or 27MHz LA Radio or LA-Phone or PMR446) RHA68 is popular with radio hobbyists as well as private individuals, hunting clubs, businesses, outdoor organizations, hikers, backpackers, hunters, outdoorsman, farmers, taxi drivers, rideshare drivers (Uber, Lyft, etc.) and numerous other groups.

Channel 13, frequency 70.200 MHz is shared with the 4 meter ham radio band (see below)

Relation to 4m amateur radio band (70 MHz band). The RHA68 frequencies fall within the 66-88 MHz VHF mid band (sometimes called "VHF low band" or "VHFL". The 4 meter ham radio band also falls within this spectrum. The 66-88 MHz spectrum is used for land mobile two-way radio in many areas. It is used for broadcasting as part of the OIRT FM band (65.9 MHz to 74 MHz) in Russia and Eastern Europe. Interference from OIRT FM broadcasters is possible. The lower part of VHF mid band falls within the original Band I broadcasting band plan (47 MHz to 68 MHz) for FM radio and TV broadcasting.

AnyTone AT-5189 66-88 MHz mobile VHF transceiver, sold as System M-230 and Zodaic Transport 80 as well as AT-5189 and other model names and numbers.
