VHF/UHF Land Mobile Radio or LMR, Professional Mobile Radio or PMR, Professional Land Mobile Radio or PLMR. Various bands from 25 MHz to 940 MHz (in the United States). Licensed land mobile systems Part 90 FCC rules (along with public safety). Not all business radio setups operate under Part 90. Not all require licenses. Several Part 95 services may be used for personal or business purposes without any license required, including CB radio, the UHF FRS service (and the shared GMRS simplex radio frequencies) and the VHF MURS radio service. On-site license-free systems using Part 15 (or sometimes called "ISM", which is technically correct, as many Part 15 bands (such as 27 MHz, 900 MHz on site digital business radios, 2.4 GHz band, PRR, the Wi-Fi bands, etc.) are shared with ISM, but ISM specifically prohibits communications under Part 18 of the FCC rules.

Outside the USA, Business band is often called PMR, PLMR, LMR or similar terms. These should not be confused with the license-free (but often used for business purposes) PMR446 service used outside the United States.
