I've always been one to seek out royalty-free content for part 15 broadcast. Sometime around Christmas before last, I began playing around with AI. Generating videos, generated topic themed podcasts, and eventually music generations. Initially writing my own lyrics to put to music - but that dried up quick... So finally it occurred to me there are thousands of popular public domain songs out there (pre-1931), real classics, that I could recreate from the original lyrics, taken from the original sheet music - and that's what I began doing. I tried to make it a point to create at least one or two songs a day. On average it takes me at very least 3 or 4 hours to finish a single song, but on many I've spent longer than that, so it's not like I just entered the lyrics and took whatever it spit out. I tediously molded  every one of them through multiples of generations and throughout the duration of each song. Anyway, now, to date I've completed approximately 200 individual titles, maybe a few more than that, and I'm still gradually increasing that number. Right now I have most of them paying in ZenoRadio's online randomized "auto-dj" mode.

I realize the stigma AI music has, and generally AI music is a turn-off to me too. But I feel recreated vintage songs are an exception, which somehow bypasses that stigma. I genuinely think listening to these re-creations are entertaining, good listening and interesting. I've fabricated DJ introductions or outros for most of them, detailing who wrote the lyrics, the year originally published and so forth, as well as any interesting backstory to each song.

It's important to note that although the original lyrics are used, the actual musical composition in most cases bear no resemblance whatsoever to the originals, so these aren't really what you'd call "covers", rather these are all totally "re-imagined" versions of those original vintage songs.

My stream went from essentially none at all to a consistent 16 to 18 listeners spread across United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway and Sweden from about 5:30am till about 3 in the afternoon, then dropped to about 6 to 8 listeners in the same countries until about midnight.

It really appears that influx came from my post here. Today however there's nothing. It was kind of cool, but it seems peculiar the listeners were consistent from other countries for over 12 hours straight yesterday, I've never seen any listeners from outside the US or Canada before (with exception to New Zealand one time briefly), nor have I ever seen more than maybe 4 listeners at all.
