Received via N1NTE SDR receiver. American CB radio operator doing radio checks on 27095 kHz AM - 27.095MHz AM - Channel 11A.
11..3..right there..there we go...unique roger beep, a single "BLOOP". At 2314 UTC, OM talking about "driver". Signal strength increased significantly around this time, sounds like somebody turned their "helper box" (amplifier) on.
2315 UTC: Good signal, nice clean AM modulation, no splatter or overmodulation or clipping evident. Also, this guy's transmitter is very nicely aligned. Carrier parked on 27094.96 kHz...very very close to being right on the money. Nice use of the old +10 kHz switch to use a clear channel for radio checks.
27.095 MHz is usually pretty quiet as it is so close to 27.085 MHz (CB Channel 11) which is usually pretty darn busy.
