Via a recording.  Weak and unusable here.  SSTV in Martin 1 at 2303 and 2349 started and stopped but never got going.  The only clear copy I had was "Happy Trails," the "From the Barnyard...Thunder Chicken Radio," and the closing Thunder.

Usually TCR has a very respectable signal, but not last (14 May) night.

Nothing came through on the recordings, not even a trace of carrier. Seems like they weren't on the air since the K index was low and these hours were entirely under night propagation conditions.

Very good reception in Shaker Heights, OH during midday.  About 115 air miles from current qth.  H-501x using whip which is working better than ferrite bar (radio allows for antenna choice).

More surprising than a Class A station that can be heard over 100 miles away in the afternoon is the broadcast itself for me.  This is the Pittsburgh Pirate pre-game show.  KDKA AM has started carrying afternoon Pirate games within the past couple of years but certainly not within reception of New England.  I'm thinking the last direct reception of a Pirate game I heard on KDKA might have been 20-25 years ago.

1614 OM "You are listening to the Pittsburgh Pirates North Shore Tavern Pregame Show on KDKA 1020 AM"
1633 OM giving Brewers line up, then Buccos off to Chicago to play the Cubs
1709 OM ".......without the express written consent of Major League Baseball."
1711 OM "McCutchen robbed of one yesterday.  Here's the first pitch, ball one."

SDR recording catch, on from 0048-0208 UTC. Very tough copy with Cuba dominating most of the time, but occasional music drowned out Cuba.
