Equipment / Noise level
« on: October 08, 2012, 1728 UTC »
I made a short vid today around 1/pm EST of this noise. I put in the description of what you are seeing in the vid. Mind you, I've shut the house down electrically and it made absolutely no difference in my noise level anywhere I tested. Thoughts??

I labeled this station part 15 but I know he's far from that. The reception gets better later in the recording along with station ID.

HF Beacons / 24.945.290 beacon, ATTENTION Token

Listen in on this freq in the 12m band. It's a beacon though tough to make out. Hearing it right now on your Perseus server. Has me confused as no beacons that I know of operate within this band. Let me know what you think.

General Radio Discussion / Perseus servers

Seems they've repaired the server map/logging issue. If you keep your Perseus server up/on 24/7 or have not restarted it in the last few days. Please do so as it will not show up on the map otherwise.

FM Free Radio / FM station heard
« on: March 13, 2012, 2104 UTC »
I'm usually hesitant on posting FM free radio logs for obvious reasons. I hear one very rarely on 88.1 north of me. I've only heard it during my travels. Plays rock mostly and never any voice over. Seems to have good coverage of approx 5 miles give or take a slice. Heard a couple of times. I'll just say north of Mt Clemens MI and leave it at that. There is another in my general area (wont say where ;)  ) that plays old radio shows in high quality. The audio always sounds excellent.
