Utility / Skyking: Still not answering on 4724u

Don't hear these skyking messages so often anymore but caught one tonight about 02:50z:  "Skyking, Skyking DO NOT ANSWER": followed by 4 character message and two character authentication.  (Presumably from Andrews).  Always makes me feel good to know that Skyking is still up there somewhere, but just once I wish they'd let em answer!

Spy Numbers / UNID CW on 4330

At 03:38z: been hearing weak CW sig for more than 30min now, ,when sig strengthens I believe my Multipsk program is able to decode it with roughly 75% or better accuracy, do no think this is the 5 letter cut number groups of M8, which would usually be easy to ID. Are the frequent "=" sign indicative of any particular station?   Below is a sample, any ideas?  I defer to the spook experts!

Utility / 12359U: UNID (WPE?) Ship to Shore Coms

On 12359U, at 20:15z, hearing a crusty old guy at an UNID shore station (Strong signal) communicating with a variety of ships giving weather and navigation info.  Weak signal from the "Moonlight," copied, another ship too weak to copy, then "Panic Atack" and "Endeavor."

Not sure if this is WPE communicating with their tugs or a different station.  May have caught a call of "VX 490."  Off at 20:14z.

Hearing the Who, "Another Tricky Day," followed by another Who tune I cannot name at 23:41z,then "The Seeker," and "Substitute" weak signal here, so far no ID. Yes the kids are alright!

Utility / Missing Vessel Search off Georgia Coast

At 05:02z CAMSLANT Chesapeke working Coast Guard 1500 on 5696U, reporting that they had a possible sighting of the missing vessel "Animal Control" by the vessel "Baltic Sea" at position 31.51N, 80.37W, 9NM SE of Savannah sea buoy.  Search of the area by CG1500 was to commence.

At 03:3oz Arctic Fox on 8992 with EAM, then "Standing by for traffic"
At 04:10z Raindeer on 4724 with EAM, then Standing by for traffic.
At 04:20 Economics on 4724 with Eam, then "tanding by for traffic"

At 0435 on 4727u Arctic Fox with EAM , then srtanding by fir traffic.


Also at 04:30z Raindeer atempting to hail Arctic Fox with no joy, except for reply from Peurto Rico, who was told "no assistance needed.  "Raindeer and "arctic Fox" are not calls I have heard previosly

Weak sig, but can make out the Stones classic Sympathy for the Devil through the fades at 21:48z, followed by Van Halen "Running with the Devil," Charlie Daniels "Devil went down to Georgia." ID WLDJ at 22:06z.  Cool show!

Off at 22:20z, no joy on getting copy on SSTV sig.

General Radio Discussion / Zenith Transoceanic Radio on "Pawn Stars"

Was watching "Pawn Stars" on History Channel yesterday, may have been a rerun.  Guy came in to sell an old Zenith Trans Oceanic radio, in pretty good shape.  The guy asked for 80 bucks and I was surprised that RIck Harrison agreed to pay that much, don't think they go for too much more than that on ebay generally.  Anyway Rick did gush a bit about how cool these radios are because they can pick up signals from all over the world!  (I wanted to say not with the sunspots we have lately buddy!) Was nice to actually see some people talking shortwave radios on television for a change!

COuldn't make out ID at 22:31z, (thrown off by the LSB) but now CCR tune followed by Led Zep coming in loud and clear. 

SSTV at 22:45 but unable to copy

5723u at 01:45z has been active with Uniform hailing Echo-Charlie regarding flight 2756, some chatter about debriefing.  This frequency was ID as USN Net last wek by Jack Metcalf on Yahoo Utility Group, current chatter seems to be quite different from net Identifiers heard last week, more active flight ops related.Interesting listening.
