On January 20, Radio 538 made a world premiere between 6 pm and 9 pm. The Dutch private station was able to broadcast live from the submarine "Walross". The submarine built in Rotterdam and commissioned in 1992 is almost 70 meters long, 8 meters wide and has a total height of 7 meters.

For the "Frank en Vrijdagshow" a radiostudio was improvised after months of planning. At the marina Den Helder started the unusual action in the best weather conditions. Presenter Frank Dane and his two sidekicks Jelte van der Goot and "Hauspianist" Albert van Dijk were accompanied by the DJ duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano.

The stage fright during "The Diving Dutch" was mixed with comparisons for the first time sex and the first flying experience. Radio 538 could not sink any further, said one.

For the submarine commander Lieutenant Berend van de Kraats, officer Alex Kranenburg and her husband, the prominent visit was also a special experience. According to the report, after half-hour's delay, "We wrote history - it was fantastic!"

Broadcast Announcements / KCR birthday transmission
« on: January 17, 2017, 1854 UTC »
Dear Friends, how many of you know, this month we celebrate the first year of broadcasting. In truth, our January 2016 program was heard by few big DXers, the Massi, in fact, after a flight from the roof, failed to properly install the antenna and us girls we had to stick it to the gutter with bad results .
"Happy Birthday KCR" is the name of the program that will air Saturday, January 28, 2017 with the collaboration of Radio Dr. Tim from Germany. Radio Dr.Tim is an institution in the world of Free and we are very happy and honored to be this good news. In the coming months you can also listen to their station !!
For our birthday we have coined a special QSL which as always will be sent to all the friends who will write.
We hope many of you will come !

Jasmine and "The Team KCR"

Dutch AT takes legal station off air by mistake
The Dutch Radiocommunications Agency (AT) has made a serious error in its fight against pirate stations.

On Thursday it dismantled the antenna of Vechtdal NL in Ommen on 105.6 MHz, thinking it was an unlicensed station.

But the station is in fact legal, and is a theme channel of Vechtdal FM. The Agency says that something obviously went wrong with the checking of licences.

It remains to be seen if the Agency will pay for the costs of rebuilding the antenna and any collateral damage, bearing in mind that there is no established procedure for dealing with such a situation. Vechtdal NL is still operating online.

Daniel,
songs id'ed on 252 kHz:
Craig David - Change My Love
Usher - Missin U
Therefore I would tend to RTE Radio1 as well.
I doubt that RTA from Algeria will play this type of music.

171kHz in your video was Medi 1 from Morocco with 2000KW
