Came in late to the party tonight.  Caught show ~0242 with song request for Chris Lobdell.  Usual good signal here in Omaha on the little ol' Tecsun PL-660.

Renegade Radio on 6935 USB Apr 05 @ 0205+
Good signal here in Nebraska with '70s/'80s rock music.  IDs @ 0210 and 0221. Good show tonight.
Wow, three pirate stations on the same time: Renegade Radio, Wolverine Radio, and Liquid Radio.

6925 USB / APR 03/ 0138-0150+
Could only hear men and women talking about unknown topic(s).  No music heard.  Summer-like static levels made clear copy of station almost impossible.

6925 USB / APR 01 / 0245-0248*
Woman singing a country song with man giving quick station ID @ 0248 then s/off.  Unable to clearly hear ID. Good but somewhat weak signal.

Old Time Radio
6770 AM / MAR 30 / 0535-0601+.
Radio program "The Shadow" about retired actor who portrayed murderers accused of being one.
Due to weak signal and heavy noise, didn't catch conclusion. But ... "the Shadow knows." (Sorry, couldn't resist cliche response.)
All-in-all, glad to finally hear some program details despite difficult conditions.

726
6925 AM / MAR 25 / 0044-0110+
Weak signal hampered by heavy static and ops on LSB.
Songs "i Am the Walrus," "Incense and Peppermint" and others.
Op is announcing song titles but voice is deep in noise floor.  Only able, so far, to hear station as " ?  Radio."
At 0117 caught clear ID as "Free Thinker Radio" into an ad for "Joe Bob's Garden ?"
Despite constant static rushes, audio legibility increased greatly after LSB ops left airwaves.

Heard station on MAR 21 on 6770AM  ~0242.  Station at my location is generally faint and barely above the noise floor so program details are sketchy at best.
One of these days hoping conditions improve enough so I can hear something more than a faint signal in the static.

6876AM / MAR 23 / 0032-0102.
Weak signal with lots of QRN.  Heard songs by Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, and Bruce Springsteen. Clear stn ID ~0041.  Just happened across show while doing a little band scanning.

729
Caught here on the Great Plains  from roughly 0108-0130 on 6925 AM (Mar 22).
Caught songs "Do You Want My Love" and "One Down, One to Go."
Reception hampered by Spanish-language  ops on LSB,

Heard here on the Great Plains ~0120  with good signal/audio and little fading.
Sounds like the usual indie music I'm not familiar with, but sounds good.
Clear ID @ 0130.

General Radio Discussion / Re: SEVERE SOLAR ACTIVITY ALERT
« on: March 18, 2015, 0102 UTC »
Apparently, auroral  activity was seen as far south as the Dakotas in the hours before sunrise today.
The storm is subsiding but still active, so a chance to see some may be possible after dark in the northern tier of the U.S.
As an aside, the only time signal I can hear at the moment is WWV's 5 MHz signal.

6770 AM. 0234 Mar 15
Hearing multiple voices and possible background music.  Signal very faint and deep in noise floor.
No ID heard but assuming Old Time Radio because of frequency and mode.
Around 0252 can hear some big band/swing orchestral music.  Unable to pull any details out of the noise.

733
@2051on 6925 USB am able to hear music but signal is faint.  There is a station but no ID yet.
Correction: it is an AM signal but, at the moment, can make it out better in USB or AM SYNC/USB settings.
Lost signal ~2123, unable to copy any ID.

734
6925 AM / MAR 13 / 0110+.  Hearing male vocal with station ID @ 0114.  Difficult copy due to weak signal here in Eastern Nebraska. Noise floor also some.what elevated.  May try SSB to see if signal reception can be improved.
Switching to AM SYNC on my Tecsun PL-660 improved signal and audio quality.  Clear ID @ 0126.
