I hear blues on 9955 kHz, not 9950.

http://short-wave.info shows that to be a WRMI frequency which is indeed scheduled to be active now.

2
Pee Wee Radio, 6925 USB, 0139, 6/5/16.  End of a rock song, "Pee Wee" in CW, off.

Just caught the end.

Odd, I copied the ID as SKIPPY RADIO (and I just reviewed my recording and that's definitely what I received here).

Audible here in Washington state, just a skosh weaker than Wolverine. Just had an ID in CW, of which I missed all but the last word (because it happened just as I found the signal): RADIO. Real useful, that :-). Hopefully I'll be able to copy the whole thing the next time they give it.

4
Can barely just detect a carrier on that frequency here in Washington state.

Barely an S-1 signal in Washington State without the preamp engaged, S-9 with on the preamp 2 setting of my Icom R75. Playing old-timey music. Spot on at 6930.00 USB so far as I can tell.

So that's what I caught the very tail end of:

Heard in Washington state. Not as good a signal as the previous night, (distant) lightning-caused static was quite bad.

Will hopefully have some audio to upload later this week.

9
Heard in Washington State (while camping on the holiday weekend).

Will hopefully have some audio to upload later this week.

Heard it while camping in the Cascades near Garland Mineral Springs, WA. Good reception with a signal of S-9 to 10 dB over S-9. Icom R75 and tuned random wire antenna.

Recorded from 0220 UTC to signoff:

Thanks for that...it more or less confirms what I thought that skip was pretty short that night. I'd be very interested in hearing the audio if you do get a chance to post it. Cheers....BOR

I'd be happy to, here it is!

That would have been me, Blue Ocean Radio. I was testing out an AM transmitter and relaying a show by CoolAM, a European pirate. I was only running 25 watts to my G5RV and I don't think condx were all that great. I was hearing myself on some western remotes quite well though. Fall is coming, I have a solution to the low power situation on the way and some ideas for improving my antenna system so, hopefully, you should be hearing better signals from BOR (AM) very soon. Thanks for the reports...cheers to all!!

You put an incredible stunning signal out to the Cascade Mountains of Washington state. S-9 to 20 over as received on my Icom R75 and tuned random wire. I recorded about 75 minutes of audio and hope to upload it to my web site this week as time allows.

Heard them while camping on Camano Island, WA last night. Alas, it was not the best of spots to be camping for SWL purposes; there was a malfunctioning street light somewhere on that part of the island, and every few minutes it totally trashed the HF spectrum. :-(

Lowe HF-150, tuned random wire antenna.

Playing Woody Guthrie singing "This Land is Your Land" right now. Barely above the urban noise floor.

Just ID'd as "Northern Relay Service" in voice.

Update: Now either off air or so far down in the crud I can't hear a thing at all.

Update (0312 UTC): back again.

Update (0330 UTC): off, apparently for good, at 0322. Built up to a real strong signal before it ended.
