Listening to UNID comms foreign language on 6900LSB @530UTC 05.17.23 using SDRuno RSPdx hooked up to small indoor antenna. (dipole antenna from the SDR RTL dongle kit) reception is good, clear with some fading.

Just heard WLO ID on 8788 USB @1:05UTC 04.27.23 Very short marine HF WX broadcast with female voice recording.
I've monitored this station before, but this is the first time I heard the ID.
Radio: Sangean ATS 909X2 hooked to a roof mounted MLA30 antenna. RADIO645 QTH Santa Fe, NM. USA.

I recorded "WRMI Legends" rock music program on frequency 9845 @2354UTC tonight 11/19/22 Good reception throughout the broadcast. I monitored 9845 on the RSPdx SDR radio via my laptop on a MLA-30 outdoor antenna.

Last night I was listening to 6501USB USCG Kodiak AK.WX @343UTC heard some splatter in the background tuned around to monitor UNID people talking on 6500 USB in SP language? Recorded 10 minutes of their QSO (non hams) on the RSP1A hooked up to a roof mounted MLA-30 loop antenna.

Equipment / Re: MLA-30 Loop antenna

After years of using a 25ft. long wire antenna, I decided to purchase and set up the MLA-30 Mega loop antenna for the Sangean 909X2. Other than having to buy some SMA connectors and the coax plug for the antenna port I'm very happy with the results with MLA30, which exceeded all my expectations. I have since stopped using the long wire and use the MLA30 on both the Sangean and the SDRuno RSP1A. You can't go wrong with the MLA30 in my opinion, despite what the detractors say about the mega loop, it out performs any antenna I've tried for SWLing and you can't beat the price!

Spy Numbers / Re: Spy Numbers database, a resource you should use

I just joined this group, looks like an interesting place to hang out! Here's my list of Cuban (female) number station frequencies that I've monitored over the last couple of years. 10715,11530,11635,13740,16180,17480,11435,10860,10345,11684. Most of these freqs are very active, I've logged 4 broadcasts in one day but mostly it's hit and miss according to time and freq. Expect to hear these broadcasts any time of the day or night. They are usually broadcast in AM have yet to monitor any of them on USB or LSB. My radios are the Sangean ATS 909x2 with a 25ft. long wire and the SDRuno RSP1 hooked up to the MLA-30 mega loop antenna, nothing fancy, monitoring these frequencies requires diligent listening however since they seem to broadcast randomly.
