10-15dB over in the middle of the US. Moderate fading. Moderate static when sig below +10.

20:54z Police "So lonely" in progress.
02:56z ID Wolverine Radio

Probably the best I've heard Wolverine here so far. Steady enough to enjoy the music.

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm in the middle of flyover country, about as central as one can get in the continental US.

Haven't been chasing pirates for long enough to really get a bead on who I hear the best under what kinds of prop, so I'm looking forward to comparing notes as well. Best pirate sig I ever heard here was Under Cover Radio a couple weeks ago. WBNY is usually at my noise level and have never really heard them well enough to enjoy the show. Sometimes I hear Wolverine well, and sometimes I hear GaGa okay. We'll just have to see what I get now that I'm paying attention.

Hi,

I'm new here. Also a fairly new SWLer. The pirate broadcasts on 6.925 USB caught my attention, and here I am.

For casual SWLing, I have a couple Zenith TOs - an H500 and a Royal 7000-1. Just fine for RHC, RCI, RNZI, etc. For the harder stuff I use a Ten Tec Jupiter and a ground mounted vertical with lots of radials stapled in the yard. Am working on getting a dipole up in the next couple months.

I also like to build stuff and melt solder.
