WBNY relays 6850AM 2230-2340-UTC SINPO 34433 first tuned in to WBNY Superstation program, asshole song, then went into Pirates week 6/6/10 reception reports and loggings, now Voice Of Next Thursday on with explaination of "paradox" whereby he says "everything I"m telling you is a lie" so this must mean I'm lying about that too. Very odd thoughtful stuff. Still on and getting stronger as reception picking up as sun goes down.

This is what I call the "chicken little" reaction! Something unusual happens, so suddenly 'the sky is falling". Sunspots may be on a cycle, as they most likely are. What if this is part of a 300-year cycle? or 500 or a 1,000 cycle? No one would know. The "church" has pretty much destroyed any past history they disliked, so who's to know. No records. Sunsposts will come back and when they do, DX will be great once again. Until then we have the 'scientists' who gave you "global warming" to try to scare you about the sun now!

1747-1816UTC 6905AM SINPO 22232 only reason I id'd as WBNY was the only voice I could pull out was talking about "monkeys". conditions really bad, other than the monkey stuff, nothing else to ID.

But ever there were places you'd want and need to use profanity, its Pennsylvania, Michigan and New York. Only the morally corrupt would censor free speech. We've got that lousy, two faced liar in Connecticut running for public office lying about being in Viet Nam. Why can he tell lies and no fine, but I say "shit" in public and suddenly its a ticket?
Free Speech has been under attack since it was written into the Bill of Rights. Its what the government does!

2008-2122UTC SIO343 6900AM Pirate Feud with Kracker, Poet & Sycko on one team and Ga-Ga, Outhouse & Fansome on the other team. Questions and Kracker and Poet become very good friends at the end. Then program segued into interview with George Zeller (interviewer not identified but I think its Kracker) about the recent controversy over Monitoring Times dropping shortwave and pirate columns. Good signal, no fade

I'd go flat, as you are going to need the ionisphere to hit the lower 48. Figure at 6925 that you get roughly 300-miles a bounce and when conditions are super good, 600. Vertical gets eaten up with noise, QRM and everything you can think of 
, plus you need a good ground plane if you intend to do vertical. Wouldn't hurt with the horizontal either but most definitely for the Vertical. Plus for a structure as big as you describe, you need Belden 9913 or something similar to feed and some big-time power.
Post your design, if you don't mind, would love to see it!

Started at 1110utc and still on, now 1245utc WBNY 6900AM 8/1/09 SIO444 started with Good Monkey program and now into WBNY talent show, with Lcee doing Stairway to Gilligans Island. Also heard earlier Commander Bunny talking about how he made the Beatles big. Really nice solid big sounding AM signal here.

Commander Bunny continues his "marathon" Memorial Day broadcasts on 6850 AM. Sounds like different shows from yesterday. Started with "monkey-boy" chants to Pink Floyd music and into a discussion of monkey-boy faults. Started at 1400UTC and CB came on and said it would be a "marathon" broadcast again today. Good solid AM signal but only SIO333 right now. Hope conditions improve.

Said it was the "Memorial Day Weekend Marathon on 6850". Had Radio Free SPeech Memorial Day show, from the early 90's, then into WBNY Good Monkey show. 1930-still on. Had been on for about 3-hours this morning with lots of shows. SIO333 but conditions are improving. Had them at 434 this morning.
