I'm not sure what these stations were. I suspect military but a search of the Military Callsign List didn't turn up anything for Belltown or Bell Town. At one point Belltown said, "The vehicles have been released." I've tried googling the frequency but haven't come up with anything.

Received in Seattle, WA on an RSP1a SDR and MLA-30 broadband loop. Anyone know what I heard?

Convoy 3741 to San Francisco reporting an emergency. Shutting Engine 2 Down at 20:13  Reported position 30 14.5N 134 38.2W  ETA to Point Mugu (unintelligible) Descending to to FL (flight level) 150 (15,000 ft) from FL 190 with 7 souls aboard. San Francisco asked if they needed any further assistance. Convoy 3741 said not at this time. San Francisco advised them to conserve fuel. Estimated Point Mugu at 2330.

EDIT: i just did some research and this appeared to be a US Navy "Special Mission" C-130.

Just happened upon this transmission, they asked New York for a phone patch (couldnt make out who to) and reported they had smoke in the cockpit. they had turned around near grand turks and were headed back to San Juan.

i've only been listening to hams for a short period of time but i came across a bunch of guys insulting each other with profanity , playing recordings, making physical threats etc. one kept shouting "Bootlegger Alert! Bootlegger Alert! Violation of Part 97!" one guy kept asking "have you ever done time?"

monitored from my washinton state location. at one point a guy (WA7BZI) who said he was a monitor from seattle read a long letter he was sending to the FCC about the guys who he says have been a problem for years. weird stuff.

they're still at it as of 06:35 UTC
