Shortwave Broadcast / Russia - Radio Sakha extended broadcast, 7345 // 7295 kHz., 0504+ UTC, Dec 31

RUSSIA. 7345 // 7295, Radio Sakha, via Yakutsk, is normally
broadcasting *0300-0500* UTC, but Dec 31 with special extended
broadcast; heard before 0300 and at 0504 still going with a
very good signal on 7345 and even 7295 was still being heard,
but poorly.

7410-AM, religious pirate (formerly known as "Radio Station YHWH").
Dec 18, first noted at 0312 with just open carrier; 0355 able to tell
was Joshua, but unreadable; 0440 sudden and dramatic improvement
in the signal, from unreadable to readable; still on at 0453.

Shortwave Broadcast / R. Australia problems

AUSTRALIA. RA on Dec 17, found 9580 silent 1422 UTC +
1448, when also unable to hear 12065 nor 12085, but at
1616 did hear 12065 (very faint) // 12085 (fair), with ABC
program of pop songs; program ID "This is Double J";
9580 still off the air. 4835 ABC Alice Springs NT well
heard at 1422 with xmas songs.

RA still with one transmitter off on Dec 18; noted 17840
was off the air; 15240 // 15415, at 0300, with poor reception,
but by 0422 was readable; no RA IDs, only "ABC Local
Radio" and many promos for "ABC news" & "ABC Grand-
stand"; 0513 interview with someone from "Double J."

So both 9580 & 17840 are silent, which normally would
be their strongest frequencies.

Religious pirate (formerly known as "Radio Station YHWH") on Dec 10.

7405-AM, random checking 0349-0357* UTC (off in mid-sentence) & *0403
to past 0526; usual presentation; much better reception than recently
heard; at 0432 thought he was going to sign off, as he did his "I love
you" format, but instead started another recording.

7410-AM, found here at 0401 till 0403* UTC; so for some reason he briefly
switched away from 7405.

NORTH AMERICA. 7410-AM, religious pirate (formerly known
as "Radio Station YHWH"). Dec 9, ex: yesterday's 4865-AM; first
noted with totally unreadable signal at 0327 UTC, but reception
steadily improved till 0415*, when was mostly readable; today
identical to my Nov 27 reception on this same frequency, except
out of sync with that by being five minutes earlier today.

The major difference today was after the usual recorded "I love you.
Till next time," "Joshua" seemed to be live, which did not happen
with my Nov 27 reception. Today he said something like this:

Yes indeed, I thank you personally right now for tuning in. You
could have been watching TV. You could have been studying for
an hour or whatever, or reading a book or doing something else,
but no... I appreciate it, as does Yahweh. See you tomorrow.

4865-AM, religious pirate (formerly known as "Radio Station YHWH"),
Dec 8, at 0319 UTC, with Joshua's very distinctive voice, but just above
threshold level audio; mostly unusable; still on at 0410; never improved
enough to be readable.

Others have noted decent reception tonight, so indeed he must
be located outside Calif. now; reception was best in USB.

SOLOMON ISLANDS. 9545, SIBC, 0501 to past 0633+ UTC, Dec 5.
Running well past their normal sign off time; 0501-0530 with brief
ABC news and long item about Canadian woman deported from
Fiji; IDs 0517 & 0530 "You are listening to Radio Australia"; // RA
on 15240, 15415 and 17840; after 0530 no longer //, but with local
SIBC programs; pop songs (Cher with "If I Could Turn Back Time,"
Dr Hook with "Sharing The Night Together," etc.); several commercial
announcements in English for "Telekom," one at 0600 incorporating
a local time check ("It's five o'clock"); announcer in Pijin; started

The last two times I recently heard "Joshua," his signal was very good,
with about 100% readable, but today (Dec 3) the reception was
surprisingly very poor.

0338 UTC was less than semi-readable; 0420 was completely unusable
(but open carrier) and the same at 0501.

Am very surprised that others, out of state, were hearing this station
at all, as I didn't think tonight's signal would get very far beyond California. 

I have not logged it yet, but I understand that the "Radio Station YHWH" IDs have not been heard within the programs?

I wonder if these are originating from the "real" Joshua, or from someone else, who is relaying recordings? It would seem kind of foolhardy for the actual YHWH guy to start broadcasting again, since the Feds caught him red-handed last time, and know who he is, and where he is.

Of course, he may have relocated his transmitter and it wouldn't be the first time that an HF pirate has returned to the air weeks or months after an initial FCC bust and "stern warning".

But, can't rule out the possibility that these may be relays of previous YHWH broadcasts by a different person.

In the past, I often monitored "Joshua," as he IDed himself on
air in the past. My recent Nov 25 reception (posted here)
consisted mostly of recordings that I had often heard before
when he was broadcasting some years ago, BUT there was
a segment that I was very confident was NEW, as it seemed
to be new material from him. Even his voice sounded slightly
different, but certainly was him. My audio of a portion of that

That segment is one he had included in the past, I have heard it before.

Over the ~1.5 years he was active his program changed from time to time, as he added segments or removed them.  In the end he had 2 one+ hour CDs that he used as his program.

I caught his transmission on Dec 3, the same one you reported in this thread.  Every section he played I had heard before.

Weak carrier since about 0305 UTC on this frequency after Romania signed off.  Carrier is slowly getting stronger but still not good enough for solid audio, unlike last night.  What I'm hearing are just brief snippets of spoken words that seem to match the op's voice.  Just a tentative for me but likely YHWH on again right now and very weak into Michigan.

0339 UTC: No longer a tentative, S7 and fairly clear audio at the moment: "those who abandon Yahweh will parish..."

He really likes his 7410

Regarding IDs: as I have posted here recently - "There is no
mistake about it, 'Joshua' has deleted all references to 'Radio
Station YHWH,' which he used in the past to ID his station.
Today [Nov 27] at 0357, the previously recorded program said
'Thank you for tuning into' and the station ID was definitely
deleted from the recording; my audio of this is posted at 
http://goo.gl/xLHp8b  ." I also noted recently at sign off, he
no longer uses the unique signature music that he always
started and ended his broadcasts with.

In other words, as Glenn Hauser has pointed out at DXLD yg,
seems all this is a weak attempt to somehow disguise his new
broadcasts from the FCC.

Appreciate hearing feedback from others about my observations.
Certainly is a one-of-a-kind unique station!

ANGOLA. 4949.73, R. Nacional de Angola, 0207-0413 UTC, Nov 30.
Very nicely above threshold level audio; one of their best days;
0300-0304 brief news; African pop songs and indigenous chanting;
many clear IDs. Provided several hours of enjoyable listening at a
decent level of reception. SWLing at its best!

Nov 27 (Sunday) with identical programming as I heard Nov 25 (Friday)
on 7335-AM, except today was running three minutes later than my
25th reception; 0313-0342 mostly poor reception, but then a
dramatic improvement at 0342 through to 0420*.

There is no mistake about it, "Joshua" has deleted all references to
"Radio Station YHWH," which he used in the past to ID his station.
Today at 0357, the previously recorded program said "Thank you
for tuning into" and the station ID was definitely deleted from the

NORTH AMERICA. new frequency 7335-AM, religious pirate
(formerly known as "Radio Station YHWH"), ex: 7410, as heard
by Glenn Hauser, who first reported the return of "Joshua" (as
he IDed himself on the air in the past), with his very unique
religious programming/lecturing; presumed to be broadcasting
from southern California. Thanks go out to Glenn!

Nov 25 (Friday UTC) highlights:

0322-0359 UTC: Seemed to be the same old programming as
heard in the past.

0359-0403: As he always did in the past, read out the ten
commandments of Yahweh.

0403-0413: Believe this must be a new lecture, as I don't remember
hearing this segment before; his voice even sounded a little different
than it did in the past; "I encourage you therefor to burn your flag," etc.

0413-0417*: As he always did in the past, read a letter from a former
Christian before sign off.

Modulation slightly distorted, but very readable. He meticulously did
not give any ID. In the past he often IDed as "Radio Station YHWH," both
during his diatribe and at sign off, but today's broadcast was certainly
absent of any such IDs. He also did not play the very strange music at
