Glimmer Twin, your body has an internal clock and it gets trained to wake up by your alarm clock. Pretty cool, huh?
Does anybody have lucid dreams? You are dreaming and you know it and can control it. I haven't had one since I forced myself to have one by hypnotizing myself to have one. It worked, but just that once. Now I don't have them.
Oh yeah, sleep paralysis. I've had that. It happens if I take a nap in the afternoon. I wake up and I can't move. Physiologically, your brain paralyzes your body when you sleep. Otherwise your body will move as you dream. I don't have the "strength" to get up. I've tried moving with lots of effort but I don't think I move. I've come out of it by calling to Jesus. And I've tried "opening myself up" or "letting down my guard" and I hear rushing white noise that gets louder and I then wake up. In my apartment near L.A. while having one of those episodes I saw a figure at the foot of my bed with a hood over it. And another time in the same apartment a tall/big humanoid talking shit to me. Saying, "You're mine." And stuff like that.
Now that I think of it, while living at the same apartment, I almost died in a motorcycle accident. And that morning before I went riding to work my keys "fell" out of my hands 3 times. They just slipped out. The third time I tried holding on to them harder. The fourth time I didn't take any chances and they didn't slip out. Then my motorcycle wouldn't start! Thats the last I remember before waking in the hospital going into surgery to fix a leaky aorta. Logically, if something was doing those things, they weren't trying to stop me from riding to work, they were delaying me to get the timing just right so I would leave at the right time to eventually get smashed. The accident happened in a bad neighborhood where dark forces probably have the most control around there: Baldwin Park near L.A. If it works like that. But I had the good forces on my side, it happened across the street from a fire station with paramedics!
At a psychology class people gave stories on this topic. One gal had sleep paralysis episodes and learned that you can "roll out of it" and move around. So the next time she was paralyzed she "rolled out of it" and she started sinking through the floor and saw soil. So she decided to move up out of the soil and around her house and eventually out of her house. She only did it once.
ps I just saw some small flat weird thing slide down the side of my computer monitor...I figure it was an internal eye floaty interacting with the edge...I hope...because I'm pretty sure it WASN'T a freaking eye floaty interacting with the side of my monitor!
Yup, cool topic.
