Tuned in to hear America's Horse With No Name, followed by what I believe is an Iron Maiden song. Pretty good signal on the 8718A tonight.  Doesn't sound like the Yoshi, but the playlist fits RML. Waiting for an ID. SIO 333, but with considerable fading.

Have them with ABBA's Knowing Me Knowing You, followed by a male announcer mentioning Radio Without Borders several times.

He's now playing The Days of Pearly Spencer, by Marc Almond.
KIWI station ID
Jolly Roger Radio ID
Unknown ID
Radio Gigantic ID
Everything is Coming Up Roses by Black

Signal is pretty good, but on the noisy side. Static crashes, and pescadore interference. Still very copyable. SIO 323

Thanks for the show!

Off around 0228 or so. Was that "data burst" at the end of the transmission them, or something else?

Some fades, but a great signal overall. SIO 434

Who'll Stop the Rain

Someone is playing 'Tubular Bells' on 6915, now guitar music. I have a very poor copy on them though. Don't see pirates this low on the band very often.

ID at around 0348, something about a special Halloween show, broadcasting on 6915.

ID in the clear this time at 0400. This is the Late Movie special Halloween edition, broadcasting on 6915 megahertz.

Bette Davis singing Loneliness at 0406

Late movie theme at 0408, followed by Twilight Zone music.

36
I heard someone on 6920 USB with music and an OM announcer. Now with occasional  laughter and ghost noises.

37
Sounded like Bob Marley, followed by an ID (that I couldn't make out) mentioning Halloween. Someone is now reading a story but I can't reammy make Much out.

Alice Cooper's Welcome to my Nightmare
Broadcasting from Salem, MA

38
I have a very poor copy on someone broadcasting on 6925. Repetitive eelectronic music (sort of like the "Japanese slot machine")  followed by a slower, more eerie piece and some dialog. Anyone else have a better copy? SIO 111

39
Maybe he'd have better luck on eharmony?

actually, now that I think about it, probably not.  :(

Charles Manson Cease to Exist

So I turn on the radio before bed last night and hear a station playing Nirvana's Tourette's... and fall asleep before I heard any ID. I woke up some time later to hear an announcer wonder if he's getting out before falling asleep again. I've listened to last night's recordings of PIR, PPVR, and XLR8 and none of them match up with what I heard. Whomever they were, they had a pretty nice signal into Central Iowa, probably an SIO of 444.

My apologies to the operator for falling asleep on you. I always appreciate hearing some of the lesser played tracks off of In Utero.

Did anyone else catch this?

Unidentified station on around 0210 or so, maybe a tick or two earlier. Big signal with typical top notch audio from the Yoshi transmitter. Cold Play, Deep Purple, and the Cars start off the show. Got a voice ID around 0223 or so. Crappy band conditions. SIO 423

Thanks for the show RML!

I caught the very tail end of this broadcast, where he dedicated it to his Son who is off to Afghanistan for 14 months. I also heard mention of the new tumblr site, and that Spike seems to enjoy playing around with it.

He was off by 0453. Sorry I missed this one.  SIO 433.
