It seems to be back on again, I am hearing 6720 at 1430z. I need to check for other frequencies. I'm making a short recording of 6720 so I can measure the duration and period. The period does seem to be 3 seconds, from listening.

The highest I am hearing is 8530. The lowest is 5970. I spot checked, but did not check all of the frequencies I was hearing yesterday.

1440z update: I am now weakly hearing 9050, so propagation is likely limiting the highest frequency I can hear.

SDR recording catch. Fairly weak signal here as well, 0600 sign on with OM talking, then some music heard. Too weak to make out any real details.

I did not note the pulse duration or period, unfortunately.

I did try checking for some of the "missing" frequencies, but didn't observe anything within a few tens of kHz of them.

So far I haven't seen anything on the overnight SDR recordings, but I'll keep an eye out for them, if they appear overnight.

OM talking. Difficult to understand, with the static and peskies.

Upon listening to the recording, it's possible there was a Man Cave Radio ID, but that's sketchy at best.

Yep, I just went to check again at 2104z, and noticed they all seemed to be QRT.

Perhaps they keep bankers hours.

Looks like Fansome pushed the wrong button on the Weather Machine again. He told me he was just trying to water his aunt's flowers.

Glad to hear you guys made it through the storms OK.

I first noted the dasher on 6920, then checked around and found the other frequencies:

5970
6060
6150
6240
6330
6420
6720
6820
6920
7020
7130
7240
7460
7570
7920
8040
8160
8280
8400
8500
8530
8670
9050
9190

It is possible some of the frequencies were going on/off or changing while I was looking around.

SDR recording catch. Fair signal here, maybe an SIO 322.

Came on at 0620 with music, Shazam claims it is  "Cinnamon Spider"
Off at 0745. I'm still going through the SDR recording, but no ID heard yet.

23950
Fairly weak, about an S5, currently playing music.

23951
About an S5 at 1957z, with some deep fades. Presently playing music.

23952
SDR recording catch. Heard 0350 to 0404, and then back on at 0420 until 0425.

I edited the date in the subject, as I think the logging was really 6/30 not 6/20.

23953
SDR recording catch.

Came on at 0108 directly into music.  Weak signal and off frequency, so the song was not shazamable.
0112 Off

After years of waiting and months of consultation – the UK finally gets legal AM and SSB CB Radio effective from the 27th June 2014.

In a consultation document published this morning by the UK regulator OFCOM the following statement was issued:

Allow two different Amplitude Modulation (AM) modes of operation (AM double side band and single side band) to be used for Citizens’ Band (CB) Radio on a licence-exempt basis in accordance with our decision in our “Statement on Citizens’ Band (CB) radio published on 10 December 2013 (the ‘CB Radio Decision’)”

Ofcom has made these changes to allow all mode operation in the CEPT band (sometimes referred to as the mid block or midband channels).  It is worth noting that that this change does not apply to the exclusive UK 27/81 frequencies which will still only permit FM operation.

SDR recording catch. Weak at sign on, but getting stronger over time. Pretty good by 0530, and S8 by 0600.
0647 ID and off
