HOLD FAST in phone patch to SHEEP MAN via station DOWN DEEP for mux setup,

HOLD FAST wants to use a series of GEP's including stations STRINGENT and DEPENDENT, ending at station BEAT BACK, with RF16 and RF1 as the mux channels.

SHEEP MAN replies RF1 is reserved so will use RF12 and RF16.

HOLD FAST says wants to use 16 for the analog side, 12 for the digital.

The following is random chatter from HOLD FAST, might be mistakenly keying mic as only one side of convo heard;
"Go for HOLD FAST"
"Mission number 12085 tack 18"

I'm still waiting for them to show up on uhf mux and/or enter the net via hf.

Peskies in lsb at 2206Z, was tuned to 6900 as the spectrum display is 100kc each side of tuned freq, and here some pescadores show up to entertain me.. Some also on 6890.

Also, possibly someone still makes converters that shift the vlf up to say 10MHz or wherever. These might offer improved performance as they're designed for the band in question but transvert the sigs where a hf receiver will be at peak performance.

Followed NAOC/TACAMO and ground sta here from triple one after one mentioned trying the CHARLIE ECHO window (9031) due to poor conditions. Using dual watch on the pro 2 to cover both freqs simultaneously, didn't think the front end bandpass would stretch that far but it works. Need to map out the bandpasses for sure.

POST STAMP calling TANK CAR on triple one after no joy on CHARLIE ECHO @ 1957Z.

OFF POST calling TANK CAR for hf digital check, TANK CAR says hf digital not working at this time, stand by.

TANK CAR telling PORTABLE he will receive data, PORTABLE replies stand by for transmission. Digital mode is three(?) tone fsk.

With the demise of USN/MC MARS who used to hold this frequency, I think the closest MARS freq is still 4041, in use by USAF or Army MARS today. It'd also be neat to hear piracy on the region 2 to 2.5MHz hint hint.
