I had PCJ as well! Same details as you. glad I wasn't the only one dealing with a godawful noise floor. that was definitely the Family radio theme music at the end of the transmission, too. that'd be the connection between WRMI and the old WYFR transmitter site kicking in.
If I'm not guilty of threadjacking, here's what I had this morning, log-wise:
11880, PCJ Radio International, 1350-1430. Greetings to listeners around the world - India, Japan, Malaysia, Germany, Denmark and Italy among the locations given - a phone call to a listener in India, conversation about Chinese new year with a station staff member in studio, music, and a contest drawing for a pocket shortwave receiver. the first person selected didn't pick up their phone, so the winner was the second person drawn; someone in Texas, USA. WRMI ID and Family Radio theme music before off at 1430. Signal fair to good at best, subject to one awful noise floor. SINPO 43343.
15330, Radio Veritas Asia, 1440-1457. Talk in listed Urdu, mostly by a female presenter, and music programming. Off as scheduled at 1457. Signal fair at best, contending with a loud noise floor. SINPO 33333.
15340, Radio Habana cuba, 1440-1500. Male and female presenters giving a list of the countries that had the most contact with RHC during 2013, complete with lists of listeners who'd written in and music specific to each country. 4, 3, 2, 1 went Venezuela, Spain, Brazil, and cuba itself. New year's greetings at program's end, then into a feature report on medicine. Signal very good, SINPO 54454.
15535, Radio Dabanga, 1603-1622. conversation in sudanese Arabic, first between a presenter in studio and a phone interviewee, then between a second host and several listeners in succession, each with a telephone ring sound effect and a clear 'hello'. Contemporary Arabic-language music near tune-out. Clear spoken and singing Radio Dabanga IDs at 1607. Signal fair to good, SINPO 44344.
Plus Firedrake on 12045, a weak Radio Free Chosun, and someone on 9680 who didn't sound like the usual CNR1 rubbish. Could Taiwan have gotten through in the clear? Light Mandarin pop music and mellow talk in a male voice. Taiwan, or...
