Music starting up on 6925 kHz AM as I was parked on the channel on the Chris SDR.... jazzy instrumental.

fairly strong.  Peaking S-9 via Maryland SDR
Can hear nothing in Michigan via my own receiver AM or SSB, except high local noise..

ID as "Yeah Man Radio"  and shout outs to us HFU loggers.  My first time for this station.
Glad I was sitting on here...

Sounds good!

A lot of people have forgotten about this, but you could once drive to Cuba. Catch the ferry in Key West and disembark in La Habana.

Al, John Huston, and I used to drive down regularly. Huston had this wino buddy, Ernie, who was always bumming rides and booze. He smelled just like that pack of six toed cats that was always following him around. We tried to make him ride in the back with Al's pet goat, but the goat wanted nothing to do with him. We usually ended up tying him to the roof.

But after I had got them out and shut the door and turned off the light it wasn't any good.
It was like saying good-by to a statue.  After a while I went out and left the hospital
and walked back to the hotel in the rain.

Huh? / Re: What Happened To Radio AND “Liberal Talk” Radio?

'Liberal Talk Radio' failed for the simple reason that liberals like to read, and can....

I saw the Monkees in 1967, The Boyce and Hart Band played from behind a screen while the real talent in the Monkees. Davey Jones had a live mic.

It was an interesting crowd, a friends older brother took us in his monstrous '63 Plymouth Fury because he wanted to see the back-up band, some crew of hippies called "The Jimi Hendrix Experience"? I think Jimi and his crew learned that 12,000 screaming, booing, nine year old girls were too much for their sound system to overcome even though it went to eleven.

Trudy was pissed by Hendrix's racket, I can tell you that. No backseat hand-holdin' on the hour ride home.

Still infamous, as one of the most mis-matched tour pairings in music history, lol

Hmmm. Perhaps I should cut a new show recreating that epic tour...

Yeah! Let's not prevent people from illegally entering our country!

That's all that the East Germans were doing with their Berlin wall in 1962, amirite or amirite?

Glad we'll be in such good socialist company....

2305, hearing an aged pop hit enough to recognize, "roses in bloom, blah blah", on Chris's KiwiSDR.
S-3 to S-5.

54
From 2247 UTC, trying to listen on the Maryland kiwiSDR-
music fighting with noise, about S-3 to S-4.  Local reception probably about same but covered by local het.

2258- Dickweed &co DJ chat that I can't really make out but recognize Comrade Dickweed's voice.

Probably my worst ever reception of RFW which was usually S-7 to S-9 at my QTH, but thanks for trying, comrades!
These prop conditions suck for 43 meters...

Clair de lune by Debussy at 2346 UTC.

Weak, S-3 on the Maryland SDR.

Anybody catch the email for this, or have it?

I got "Radio Paisano at---" when the signal dropped out.

57
Radio Paisano 6950 kHz AM, 2226 UTC, 10/8/18

Italian-American stand-up comedian at 2226 UTC,
signal very readable at S-7

2228 UTC- song "Momma how I miss your (various Italian food items)"
followed by more Italian/accented music.

Best listening I've had all year due to horrific local noise, via Chris's Maryland kiwiSDR.

Long story short:  don't try to fix it yourself first when there are more qualified people standing by to look at the situation for nothing...
