S9 signal here in Iowa with significant fades. SIO 434

Loud AM signal here in Iowa with techno dance music. I heard a partial ID but the second word was beeped out, possibly by morse code dash or something. Vacuum ? Radio. Off abruptly just before 2200 hours.

An SDR recorder catch from last night. Came on a few minutes before the top of the hour with Satan Radio ID and death metal, followed by the awful sounds of what must sound like a demon being purged from a possessed soul. Short show that ended around 0214 with a SSTV scan. Nice signal into Iowa, pulling about an S9 on RadioJet, but with some deep fades. SIO 434

"Beware, DXers. Hell awaits those who listen into the abyss of static."

Listening to this one on the SDR recording. I got an ID of Radio Nonsense, with Count Joe Mama as your host. Decent signal, about an S6 on the meter but with some deep fades. SIO 333

Listening to the tail end of their show now via SDR capture. I always knew Guns n Roses would be a featured song in hell...

Good signal into Iowa tonight! SIO 444

Have them here at an S9 plus. Clear ID at 0210. Nice signal!

SIO 434

Thanks again for the show. We'll be listening out.

I've got a fairly decent copy on them here in Iowa. Band is noisy, but they're in there. Caught the first part of the broadcast in the mobile before switching over to the RadioJet. SIO 332 Heard A Hard Rain;s Gonna Fall by a female singer, Dylan's Shelter from the Storm, Rock You Like a Hurricane,  Blind Melon, Pink Floyd's Goodbye Blue Sky, and a few others I couldn't identify.

Thanks for a fun show! Hope you don't get too much rain out there.

I hear it now on the recordings as well. Thanks jFarley!

On the air with some sort of comedy clip, where a vampire is interviewing prospective women for possible STD infections. Comedy track called Hillbillies in a  Haunted House. I've heard a couple of IDs, but couldn't quite make them out. Band is pretty noisy here tonight. SIO 323

Off at around 0245.

Thanks for the show!

Got him here peaking at about an S7, but with deep fades. Lots of Pink Floyd (Astro domme, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Comfortably Numb) and stories of alien encounters and an acid flashback. Good to hear Dr. Benway again.

I've got the George Jones here too. As Mojo Nixon would say, "George Jones sings so good, It'll make your dick hard!" Keep the Ol' Possum coming!

I heard a partial ID, something relay, but it's hard to copy. The ID level is so low compared to the music that I can't quite make it out.

Sounds like some thrash metal on 6930. No ID just of yet. Pretty strong here though, about an S7 to S8. SIO 444. Keep the tunes coming! \m/

Off at 0250 after AC/DC's Problem Child.

Listened to Wolverine Radio all the way home in the mobile tonight, Big, LOUD signal (as usual) into Central Iowa, pulling an S9+ on the Yaesu FT-857D and a Tarheel II screwdriver antenna. Sounds like he's playing requests too! I heard him play Radar Love, Radioactive by the Firm, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Bell Bottom Blues, and probably a couple I don't remember. All in all, a pretty nice way to wrap up the day. SIO 555.

Got him here at the house on the RadioJet at an S9 with no fading. Sounds like more requests, including the Deadbeat Club, Yes, and Abba's SOS.

Since you're playing requests, I don't suppose I could hear Elton John's Rocket Man?

Thanks, Wolverine!

EDIT! Better idea! Since its tunes that no one else wants to hear, how about Turning Japanese by the Vapors instead?
