Funny that Hugh Stegman had no advance warning, they might have at least sent him advanced word via Japanese Fishing Boat Fax, Coast Guard RTTY or some such thing.  I'll miss seeing it on the Barnes and Noble Stands, another sign of the times for HF radio   >:(.

At 01:32z, while searching the pirate band, hearing multiple party chatter in English, weak here, unable to pick up more than some scattered words.  Any ideas?

At 01:55, hearing some party reciting multi numeric sequence: 055-855-148.  Also "sector one."  About the most  I can make out :'(

At 02:13 I could have sworn I heard a siren, and later a dog barking in the periphery during some of these comms.   ??? ???

Weak to mod signal here between fades at 02:30, Believe this station may have tried earlier on 6950, at least I caught some Elton there about 30 min ago.  ID Radio Free MArs at 02:35.
