Tuned in to 6950 AM at 1240 UTC and program ended at 1307.

Lots of sound clips of Good Monkeys trying to say "I am a good Monkey."  Apparently only Jane Monkey did it properly.

Fair signal with fading toward the end.

Thanks for the BC,

North American Shortwave Pirate / Montage of Europirates
« on: January 02, 2012, 1820 UTC »
On 6924.70 AM on 2 January 2012.  SIO = 453

I found the broadcast about 0313 UTC and listened until the show stopped at about 0400.  While I heard a lot of IDs, I never figured-out if one of them was for the program.

The program was many short recordings of and about Europirates--sometimes tens of seconds long, sometimes several minutes--strung together.  It was an interesting montage.  There was more about Radio Caroline than anything else.

At 0313 there was an announcer and music in not-EE,, then some SS, followed by SS and EE IDs for Mi Amigo Radio/Radio Mi Amigo.  Often lists of station names were read.  A story about Radio Caroline being swept ashore by a storm, followed by a few bars of "Wild Thing."  More station names and more Radio Caroline.  All ended about 0400.

Any ideas what I've heard?
