Due to community pushback, no longer enabling the new name/callsign entry panel by default.
If you want it then enable it via the checkbox on the admin control tab.

The third batch of KiwiSDRs are now available.

Correct, that change came in version 1.666. It is an option that is enabled by default and can be disabled in the Control section of the admin page.

New checkbox on control tab: "Require name/callsign entry when connecting".
Forces the user to enter a non-blank entry before a new connection will proceed.
Not shown again since the name/callsign is now in browser storage for this Kiwi.

There hasn't been any decodes as of late. Was starting to wonder if something here is bad or the Canadian stations have gone off the air or dropped power. The Panama stations don't come in here reliable with the antenna running E-W.

I have a 2010 that I bought in April of 1988. Still listen to it all of the time to this day. It will go to the grave with me.

First time getting Mexico up here, at least that I remember. Band seemed a bit odd last evening, so tuned around a while. Caught this one and KCKN, which was also a surprise from NM.

0233Z 45544 S9+ Sounded like a spanish commercial
0233Z 45544 S9+ Vincente Fernández "El Martes Me Fuslan"
0235Z 45544 S9+ Vincente Fernández "El Favor Que Te Hicieron Tus Padres"
0235Z 45544 S9+ Vincente Fernández "El Precio"

Verified with their online live stream.

Distance to the station is about 1150 miles.

No sign of WGN at all, even when the loop is pointed to Chicago.

Pretty good signal here. Ended about a 35543, a bit stronger than when it began.

Great selection of music. There were a couple of SSTV, but didn't decode them.

Did see this in the waterfall:
