Yup, that's the list  :)
Is one of your friends in Finland named Harri?
If so, I very nearly met him many years ago when he visted some pirate friends of mine not far from the aforementioned Ballinteer.

Yes.  :)

Hi Brian,

O/T I used to live near Ballinteer.
There is a list somewhere on the net which gives the frequencies of many of the churches but many of them share the same channels.

Yes, mine.  :D  http://udxf.nl/WPAS-List-February-2016.pdf
All of them identified as mentioned above by me and some friends in Finland. But last update was in 2016, as there was no reception here since then until last weekend.

Hi Chris,

Some information heard during the transmission and then try to check via internet.
Bruff announced some remberance for upcoming weeks on various cementeries in the parish, Balinteer announced All Souls mass times for all 3 churches in the parish, and the other two had prayers for persons recently died which can be checked on rip.ie.

Shortwave Broadcast / Re: Scandinavian Weekend Radio missing?
« on: October 02, 2022, 1746 UTC »
Thank you, I didn’t see that. I wonder why not the first Saturday?

According to WRTH the station runs on a series of temporary licences for 3 months (Feb-Apr, June-Aug, Oct-Dec) with no transmissions in Jan, May, Sep as required by law before a new series of licences is entitled. I guess there might be a certain amount of days with no transmission, and the time from Aug 6th to Oct 1st could have been to short.

Anyone know what is happening with Scandinavian Weekend Radio? Today is the first Saturday of the month in Finland and I have heard nothing from them today or yesterday.

Acording to their website October-broadcast will take place on October 8th, 2022.

Shortwave Broadcast / Re: 15185 unid.
« on: August 13, 2022, 1642 UTC »
I heard the programme on 15185 kHz today from sign on 1600 to sign off 1629 UTC. It's clearly directed to Ethiopia, but it sounds to me like a one-man-show produced in the own living room. Endless monologue, children crying in the background and one time also someone walking around in the background.

At least, this is a small musical station, not sure where to put that topic, and what are the links with Radio Seagull.

CWR is a small licensed Community Radio Station in the UK with volunteer staff only. For some years now they are officialy relaying Radio Seagull during nighttimes.

The destroyed towers were masts of a shortwave antenna at the Pridnestrovsky Teleradio Center Maiac. As the last SWBC-customer left mid-April, this has no effect to any programme.

Mediumwave antennas that are transmitting Russian programmes Radio Rossii 999 kHz and Viesti FM 1413 kHz were not affected by this attack.
