1622 RX is poor in Colorado for the, I'm not sure, fourth or fifth year in a row. SIO 222 or so.
1633 rx has improved to SIO 333, can actually copy spoken word (OM speaking what sounds like German but is probably Frisian).

Normal progression from yesterday's transmission. Rx at W3HFU kiwi SDR in Maryland due to poor rx at my home QTH.

20 FEB 2024 (TUE), 0500 UTC, 11462 kHz

After apparently going backwards by three days on the 19th compared to the number sets sent on the 18th, HM01 has now jumped forward four days from the 18th, or seven days from yesterday.

0103 good SIO 444 signal here in CO. Tuned to 6959.97 USB. Shazam says song is "Supernova" by Karsh Kale.
0110 OM with standup comedy routine
0111 unshazamable song but sounds kind of garage punk with heavy bassline and YL vocals

Ok,Thanks alot. Now can Radio Free Asia be heard then, if yes where? Thanks again.

RFA isn't welcome in most of the targeted nations, so I'm not sure if there aren't jamming efforts against all of them. That said I think I've only ever copied it in Korean. They do have a website you can find that should include an online stream as well as up to date schedules.

2113 Middle Eastern sounding music YL vox, good signal at W3HFU kiwi SDR

Yes. This is known as "The Firedrake" and it's most often found jamming RFA. China also jams many other broadcasts, including VOA, Radio Taiwan International, AIR, and most especially SOH, but they use relays of China National Radio 1 most often against those broadcasts.

Found this strong DRM signal scanning the bands. It's not listed on EIBI but it is identified by the Dream (v. 2.2.1) DRM decoder. At least two OM speaking French in conversation.

EDIT 1826 update: I was out of the shack for about an hour but returned c. 1800z and it's still on and strong. However as of 1825 it's definitely starting to degrade a bit with brief, second-long dropouts every 6-10 seconds or so.

19 FEB 2024 (MON), 1600 UTC, 11435 kHz

After not copying any signal at all for the 0500 hour broadcast, I was surprised to find HM01 actually going BACKWARDS in their cycle. Their transmission on 18 FEB (see above) showed that they had skipped ahead four days from what went out on 17 FEB. But today, they're transmitting the number sets we would have expected on 18 FEB. In other words, they've gone backwards by three days in the cycle.

SOH is often jammed with CNR1 broadcasts rather than noise or The Firedrake, so unless you're certain, it's more likely CNR1. Though I'm trying to remember, Ron from California did say there's one frequency he usually finds clear of jamming, and this could be the one. Hopefully he sees this and chimes in.

Also received, thank you!  ;D
