Hi Alex Jones

Even though they state what you did in your last post ,here is a copy of CBC's article on the subject

http://www.cbc.ca/news/health/story/2011/05/31/cellphone-radiation-cancer.html

I agree with you RF in itself below a certain freq does not have a cellular altering effect. However that being said it is also a well known fact that RF can be used to alter moods and has been used in phy-ops by governments around the world for decades .The famous case of the Soviets using RF pointed at the US embassy in Berlin during the 60's is well known. Extensive research went into this in the 50's and 60's . So too say that RF cannot cause cancer indirectly is also jumping the gun. Who is to say that Rf cannot trigger the bodies systems to release hormones or other internal signals that could lead indirectly to cancer . There are many things about the human body that we do not understand. There have been studies that directly relate mood disorders to cancer, and brain cancer in particular.

Shortwave pirates should take extra precaution recent behavior exhibited by Commander Bunny  ,Kracker and gang show that extensive use of the 6 mhz band lead to insanity of the worst kind. My radio room is completely enclosed by metal as well as copper screen and I always wear a tin foil hat grounded to 10 ground rods when on the air.

Yes the New World Order is here . Cell phones are just plane evil ,don't even get me started on Facebook !!
I know nothing about 1776 I always thought the answer to 1984 was a giant hard slap to the face to wake the sheeple up.

cell phones are just bad news all around. They cause brain cancer , are invasive ,cause traffic accidents ,and now can be used against you as a control device. GREAT !! I'll just add that to the 1001 reasons I have yet to buy one.

I will say that Datong used to make a mean microphone processor. Seems though they have gone to the dark side now. >:(

Wow !what unstable bands the last few days. Was great when I went on . Wall to wall good signals on the spam band 40m . J Farley reported some QRM so I Shut down for 2 minutes and heard the sweepers on there blurting away, but decided to carry on. When I signed off the power line noise was through the roof and the northern lights were blasting through the clouds.

Thanks for the audio Sealord makes for some good background for my morning joe.

Probably does belong in " Other" . I was listening to it for a while, then came inside for dinner. It does have a calming effect, kinda like whale music.  Perhaps some sort of alien pirate radio?? Thought maybe it was a pirate just playing around.

When I went on the frequency was clear, and I didn't see any posts on line for 6930 .My apologies to the other station. Last night was not the best propagation though it sounded good when I went on . Its a crap shoot.
Aired an all new version of Radio Free Manitoba last night  along with an episode of "We are Anonymous ". We will be playing it again so keep your ears pinned to the dial.

That's some pretty broad coverage . Thanks for the reports ,and thanks for the video capture Ga-Ga looks like I had a great signal into your QTH. Barely heard any noise on the signal at all. Excellent.

Personally I would have to say that the average SW listener is a little more savvy than most when sussing out BS.

Shortwave really only had a short hay day in the 30's and 40's . After the invention of the Tv the idea of going to any effort to listen to a foreign broadcast to those in the developed world was lost. This left two audiences in general who were targets for shortwave broadcasters. The undeveloped world to weaken them to invasion, and people who were in search of another kind of truth  . Governments were quick to hone in on this . The West and East used this tool to weaken the will of the other side by using huge transmitters to shove their message down the throats of people searching for something different from the party line . Be it capitalist or communist. Or any other opposing ideological doctrines. The west trying to convince russians blue jeans are cool ,and the russians trying to convince Americans that the chains of capitalism were to heavy to wear. It's still going on today but governments are giving up left right and center realizing that it is pointless in a digital world where even the poorest sometimes have access to some other simpler means of indoctrination.

So for me anyone who grew up listening to shortwave broadcasting during the cold war knows bullshit when they hear it. Pirate radio is just a last safe haven for those driven mad by all the lying they have heard over the decades. Kind of like a retirement home for cold war propaganda veterans.Tuning here and there for a kernel of truth in a hay stack.

I agree JR 2011 is going to go down as a great year for pirate radio despite what certain sharp toothed individuals say. So far we have seen at least 5 new regular  stations come about.
Captain Ron Shortwave,Radio True North,Red Mercury Labs , Northern Relay Service, XFM, and many  more not so regular .
To add to it all we are finally seeing sunspots a plenty and conditions to match.
Its true that after every popular revolution comes a renaissance .
