I worked for years troubleshooting SMPS's. You have to replace all of the bad components before you power it up. Sending it back to the guy who designed and built it is a no brainer.
Hi Stretchyman, a little off topic but I'm curious how you connect the stereo BTL amp to the mod transformer. I've got a 25+25 watt Bluetooth module that I'm thinking about using. Do you have two primaries and connect one from L+ to R- and the other from R+ to L-? That's what I've been thinking about doing but I'm not sure it will work.

Sorry for the delayed response, isp problem. Why do you want to use RS232, for remote control? Why not a lcd 1602 keypad shield? What aduino and dsp are you going to use? I have some uno clones and prototype boards and a ad9830 and ad9850 module that I got for something like this. I'd like to be part of the project.
Heard again last night, earlier and louder but soon faded under the Springfield and Hudson TIS stations. Instrumental music with lots of low end. Long pauses between tracks and long fade in fade outs.
Heard/seen something when using the RTL-SDR v3 for the first time in a year or two. Weak to fair on some KIWI's in the NE. House music? Still going at 0405 UTC.
You're supposed to say: "I'm just asking for a friend". There's little to no benefit filtering before the amp. You don't say what you got. What makes you think you need to add a filter? If you do then look for a 5 or 7 pole FM low pass filter that will handle whatever power the amp is.
