"Germany Calling" is up on 6940 AM (6939.9 KHz) at 2300 on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Very solid AM signal here in the Boston burbs. Lord Haw Haw "Germany Calling" interval signal with various swing and march (?) songs. Robot voice gives germanycalling@gmail.com address.

Shortwave Broadcast / Reflections Europe (tentative) 12255 KHz

We were talking about this on IRC just now. Very weak AM station on 12255 KHz AM at 1820 UTC on Sunday, October 24. I had never heard of this one before. It is apparently (but not confirmed) "Reflections Europe" which is may be some incarnation of the old Radio FAX pirate? Does anyone have any information about this station?

Radio Ronin is currently up on 6950 AM at 0012 UTC (October 20) playing The Doors. Good signal here in the Boston burbs but I am listening on the IC-746 tonight which has a barn door AM filter, so getting some shmuzz from up and down the band.

Radio Ronin has been on 6924.4 AM this morning with patriotic songs and readings. Several positive ID's aroudn 1440z. Signal started at a solid S8 about 40 minutes ago but has somewhat crapped out as the static level has risen through the morning.

Pirate Radio Boston is up on 6950.7 AM at 9:13 PM Eastern with music by Silversun Pickups. Very good signal and audio here in the Boston burbs (no surprise).

I just turned on the radio and caught the very tail end of the WHYP "Brownyard Family Christmas" with a 1441 UTC sign-off. The AM signal was booming here in the Boston burbs.

WMR seems to have picked up right where WTPR left off at around 1905 UTC on 6925 USB, with an announcer who repeats the ID and also states he likes to play short songs since monkeys have short attention spans. S9.

WTPR "Tire Pressure Radio" up on 6925 USB at 1901 UTC with the "Tire Pressure Zone". Very good S9 signal here in Massachusetts.

Utility / Open carrier on 6733 KHz.

I've had an open carrier on 6733 KHz for several hours now, 10/25/08 @ 0153 UTC. Seems long path in nature and takes deep fades. Peaks at S8 here in Eastern Massachusetts.

I have WAHR "Automated Halloween Radio" on 6925 USB with a positive ID by female computer voice at 2354 and then into spooky music, then another ID at 2355 UTC. Very good S9+20 signal here in Eastern Massachusetts.
