So..... I'm in a band called "Manic Impression". We have VERY high quality studio recordings of our original songs and I would like to have them be played on anybody's show. We do punk style music. We have been played on local college stations such as WKDU 91.7, and now we're looking for more outlets.

comin in crystal clear so must be local. Sounds like the music is going through the transmitter because it has AMAZING sound. Very bassy.

General Radio Discussion / MAJOR Solar Flare

From 90.9 WHYY (local NPR affiliate)- Heard them mention a major solar flare erupted just recentley, which affects radio. They actually said "Shortwave listeners across the world will be dealing with poor listening conditions for the next few days to a week".
Probably accounts for why the MW dx has been unusally horrible these past few nights. I tuned to the usual bombers, 1030 WBZ always blasts in like a local here, but for the past 2 nights it was so bad I had to go to USB to hear it, and this was at midnight!! 1090 WBAL which is from Baltimore (85 miles south of me) was barley audible. But shortwave hasn't seem to been affected much. Great conditions, at least for me, but Mw is another story.

Looks like the voice of Greece forgot they were on air. In the middle of "Your song" by Elton John it shuts off and then I heard the sound of windows 7 starting up at 1:34 utc. Talking just started back up at 1:38 utc.

Just checked a min ago and no sight of VOG. There usually always coming in clean on 9420, but not even a carrier is detected.

Other / Distorted talking on 8764 USB 1717z 2-1-14

Hearing some strong distorted talking with engine sounds in the background. Military? Most likely, but just as I'm typing this it shuts off. I'll stick to the radio and see if it returns. Thing is I can't tell if its in english or not. It sounded like it was, but it was so distorted I couldn't tell.
Just came back on at 1719. Now I'm hearing what sounds like it's a weather report. Hearing the words "35 knots, seas something something feet". So it's definetley weather report. Can't tell why it sounds like a big- rig engine in the background, and that the voice is distorted (sounds like the guy is too close to the mic).
