Good reception with some noise and fades, downpour here, in the Amharic Language

1614. YL and OM is what sounds like news format reporting, another OM call in detailing what must be breaking information.  Hurried, choppiness to cadence.
1621 News feature-like program continues with YL and OM exchanging reporting segments, occasional tape of others.

Excellent reception.  Justin Coe hosting music program in English.

2307 Simply outstanding music by featured cellist Mischa Maisky.  A Latvian cellist who studied under Spanish cellist Pau Casals.  On the Zenith Console which makes the house sound like a concert hall.  Do tune in .

QSLs Received / Voice of Turkey Teachers' Day QSL & Broadcast Schedule Card

Wow, a mailed QSL & laminated schedule in its own separate mailing envelope!  With a quote from Erodan, no less.  This was received from a reception report of a Super Lig Football Broadcast in Turkish.  Not bad, received in under 4 weeks.  I believe this is my fourth qsl off a live play by play broadcast of a football match - Deutsche Welle, Radio Netherlands, and Radio Nacional da Amazonia preceding (still awaiting from REE and RFI, sigh...... ).

This story appeared on the SWLing Post website, besides detailing the upcoming release of the PL-990 and H-501, there is a hint that they maybe the last of the high end Tecsun portable/desktops.
