TV DX Loggings / Re: A6 negative offset, who is still analogue on East Coast?

Did you have a television image, or just audio?

If it was audio only.... The former television channel six frequency is 87.75 and it's often occupied by radio stations now. I have a Spanish language one here in Denver, KXDP (based in Boulder, actually). The rest of the traditional FM band 88-108 all have an odd number for the first decimal place (87.9, 88.1, 88.3 etc up to 107.9)

Here's a list of American radio stations transmitting on 87.75 MHz. If you got one, it would be an incredible catch because they all appear to be LPFM (low power - I don't know what the highest wattage a LPFM station can use, but the ones I've looked up don't ever seem to be over 100 W, or even as much as that.)

If it was TV, then it seems doubtful that it was American. I think all analogue transmissions have ceased, and Tim Bucknall's suggestion is a good one.

I tuned over to 7425 around 1230 Z to find RNZI was SIO 455, which is unusual but not unknown when it's supposed to be beamed toward Papua New Guinea. At 1257 they announced that they would change to 5980, but the bird chirp interval never ceased, and the transmission remained on 7425, still with a terrific signal. That makes it likely that the beam failed to switch to a northwesterly direction at 1100, indicating some kind of trouble with the switching service (likely an automatic, unmanned process) at Rangitaiki.

Weak but with occasional fair peaks, OM speaking German. Occasional QRM from RHC at 6165 but for the most part it's not being overwhelmed. No music unfortunately, but maybe that's still to come.

Watford had a soft schedule up to this point, Spurs being the first top 4 club that they've played this year. Good signal. Numerous references to Messi tells me that they're covering the La Liga futbol match of Barcelona vs. Heusca. Also very good on 15520 kHz, actually that's the better signal at the moment.

No, this is where this belongs I think -Chris is the ultimate arbiter. Peskies are outbanders, while these are licensed hams transmitting in the ham band. They may be violating the regulations and they're certainly peskie pests, but Peskies (with a capital P) are a different breed.

Finally advancing from August 24's numbers, but apparently by just five days given that there are still two old number groups whose final digit are +5 from what they were before. 36137681.txt appears to be unencrypted Chinese characters.
**Signal on 11435 was up and down today and I wasn't able to get the last new file well enough at any time. Also, the signal cut out at 1649, just as they were about to send that last file for the last time that hour. This file was finally received during the 1700 broadcast.
