Ouch!  Not a good choice at all.  On the west coast there's a ute station with irritating digital signals about 1.7 kHz up from 4015 pretty much ruining the transmission.  You could try LSB.  That should work.  I can hear the music, but not very clearly!   73,  Walt in Victoria, BC

Great audio with ABBA and Dancing Queen at 01:41 tune-in.  Very powerful modulation, despite only a S6 to S7 signal on the west coast of Canada.  Excellent!

Actually pretty decent signal into Victoria, BC at 02:09.  Heard the CW IDs several times.  Only about S5 on the meter, but no one else around (save 6915 intruder ;-)  Band is pretty quiet tonight!  73,  Walt   (canswl(at)gmail(dot)com.  QSLs always welcome!
Interesting.  Did I hear, "Our Father" mentioned just now at 02:12?

Wow, all the way to Kyiv, Ukraine!   Incredible!   Just about around the world.  Slava Ukrayini!  Heroyam Slava!   Volodya (Viktoriya, Kanada)

Yes, Volodya. Not the best reception, but signal was here. Слава Україні!  Героям Слава!

Greetings from Kyiv! 73!

Thanks for listening!  I don't know whether you know well known Ukrainian DXer Vlad Titarev from Kremenchuk.  A good friend of mine!  Volodya

I have moderate signal at the moment. SINPO=33433. Besides, here is significant QRM from FSK channel marker on 6948 kHz. Thanks for the show!

Great reception into Victoria, BC with The Turtles, "So Happy Together".  Audio is superb and very powerfully modulated, and about 3 1/2 kHz wide in USB mode.  Thanks for the great music!   73,  Walt

Quite decent reception at 23:56 UTC on the west coast, and still over an hour before LSS.  73,  Walt in Victoria, BC

Interesting, Red Hat gave a phone number, with 408 area code, but I missed the rest.  Is he open to call-ins?  408 would make it northern California.

Nice S5 to S7  signal on the west coast tonight (Victoria, BC).  Lots of mentions of HF Underground at 01:32 UTC.   73,  Walt

Reception is actually quite decent into Victoria, BC tonight.  Playing a Spanish version of Aquarius until just now (02:01 UTC), and now into another Spanish song, which I don't recognize.  The ID (squirrel-like) is difficult for me to decipher.  So, could very well be Pesky Party Radio, or such.  A S8 to S9 signal.  Don't see/hear anyone else on the Pirate band tonight.  Another song at 02:03, which sounds French (a female).  Suddenly dropped right down for a few seconds at 02:06, then back with the same female vocalist.  Any chance for eQSL?  73 from Walt (canswl(at)gmail(dot)com.  Using a Perseus SDR.

Mostly in the noise at my west coast location but came up out of the noise for a few minutes to S8. Back in the noise again. Might improve once the sun sets.
0420 UTC, sigs up above the noise...got a shoutout, thanks RTN
0424 UTC, signal came up to S9+10db
0425 UTC, Alberta Bound by Gordon Lightfoot...signal up and down like a yo-yo...

BOR, I haven't heard you for a long time on the air.  Are you still broadcasting?   Cheers from Victoria!

Suspected that it might have been RTN.   Usually they are very strong into Victoria, BC  but tonight, a poor to fair signal only with lots of noise. :'(

Right!  KCPR.  A better image (still not perfect, though) at 04:16 with clear kcpr visible to the R of the image (a dwarf boxer??).  For some reason the top 20% of the image is shifted to the right on my machine.

0340 UTC Neal McCoy, "Wink".  Yeah, signal looks like it could be RTN, but audio does not sound like him.  Audio is a little hollow, like on an open mic or something like that.  Maybe the recorded source is a bit off if it is a relay for someone else?

T!

You may be correct.   Especially with their SSTV image, which means usually Wolverine Radio.   BUT, the SSTV which was difficult to copy, even here (signal deteriorated to about an S5 signal) shows 2 dogs, and a ?callsign over the lower third of the dogs.  Looks like KC??  .   Then some slow CW, which I think was KCFR??

Good reception on measured 6949.876 on the west coast (Victoria, BC).  No ID yet, but I'm suspecting Radio True North.  They were on last night with a Moscow based DJ relay.   I'll post if I hear a definite ID.
