station ID, (pretty cool sounding kind of like Ren from Red & Stimpy)

Thanks.  After listening for a while, I'm pretty sure overall you are a 2 instead of a 3.  The noise is what got you. But your show gave me some low volume background music as I posted some beacons on that forum.

redhat: Thanks, I could easily have missed it. I also didn't check multiple sites.

moof: Thanks, I sent you a private message.

ff: OK, you said the article has some "opinion." So I've found in every hobbyist group there are opinions that are held religiously, is this one of those?
P.S. Wow, 9 bucks with a card and reader!  I have a Sansa with the menu driven crap and its a pain especially when driving a car.

Thanks.
Yeah, I'm worried about it. It'll help me not worry about hurting my mp3 player.  They are little, but expensive.
Since I first posted, I consulted the Corsair and Commando wiring and they had one input for sound, but nothing about the combining of the left and right from the music player.

I want to plug my mp3 player into my lm386 amplifier.  I learned that just connecting the right and left channels together is a no no.  I got a nice circuit  diagram from this place under "Stereo to Mono Summing Box:"
http://www.rane.com/note109.html

Is it really necessary?
Are these resistor values good for my wee little mp3 player or are these for something like stage wiring (which might be different as far as I know)?

THanks for making SW interesting with a radio program!  I hear what you are saying with the religious programs and foreign languages XFM.

I hear what I think is Spanish on 6945 LSB.  Nothing on AM or USB in my neck of the woods.

I could make out rap a couple minutes ago.

Now I can make out hillbilly music.

I came back from dinner and this guy was staring at me. Pretty funny. It looks like it came at 0402 utc. Then after that I had a partial wolverine at 0403. Is this like some kind of SSTV guerilla warfare?

EDIT, my bad, this came after wolverine was done. Sorry.  The time stamps are off.  I think the times I have were stamped when I saved them, not when they came in.

566
And this is my post for the second sstv from wolverine.  I think this is only a partial copy because rattlesnake gave one before this one here:

EDIT: MY BAD, SORRY, rattlesnake came after wolverine. I don't know why I have a partial copy.  These time stamps are wrong and threw me off.

I've heard about 3 IDs with school themed songs. Reception was better but is going downhill as the sun sets. Now it is:

Thats a cool card. I like the style and the antenna doesn't look out of place in it.  Is that a woman with a pink hat playing a congo drum?

I heard old big band music on 9370 at 2330 UTC.  Then at 0040, it abruptly shut off when it was a little into a new song.
The way it abruptly shut off when not on the hour made me think its a pirate. I didn't listen the whole time and I heard 3 song changes with nobody speaking between them.

Pretty good signal strength.  Difficult to copy for some reason. I classified it as noise.  Maybe modulation?

COOL, the DJ just read my post (over the air) and did some magic and switched to USB...better reception! But honestly, audio could be better. But enjoying it non the less. Thanks RML! Happy Martin Luther King Day!

The noise came up here and it was hard to hear. I like how you read the sinpo numbahs.
Flash Gordon by Queen (with Ming the Merciless talking about our planet Earth). I love that movie.
