Bob, those are pescadores aka fisherman. We call them peskies or freebanders. You'll find them all over the 43 meter band and beyond, generally on LSB but not always. Sometimes they play music.....

Interesting...I've had an open carrier here most of the day and just turned the radio on and I'm getting some weak audio at 2126 UTC. Sounds kinda ambient...heavy noise and seems to be very undermodulated.

EDIT:Listening back today on my recording of last nights show and it seems the synth voiced YL was actually saying "Hey Skipmuck, what's happening" and not "Hey Skipmuck looks happy". Hmmm, my reply would have been somewhat different! Oh well...don't know what was said twice at 0400 UTC, but I caught the "What's the Deal" part. Thank you for including me in the evenings mayhem!
Despite my difficulty in understanding what "Robin" was saying, I leave my above posting intact....it ain't what it ain't
