Booming in here at S9+ with the 2015 Holiday Special , on suddenly with excellent audio. Opening ID by Charlie L, into "River"-Barry Manilow
(Now I've heard the part of the program I missed the other broadcasts ...time to sit back, enjoy, and listen to the sounds of the season.... )

Joe Flips & R4002....you are correct! That was a typo! I was parked on 6925 when PRB came on and no fine tuning was necessary...audio sounds superb!

2159 UTC Darn...the band just went long very quickly here!

There have been some really strange noises here first noticed at 0039 UTC. The first sounded like an oddball sounding SSTV or slow FAX xmsn. This was followed by other unusual data xmsn sounding noises.
0102 UTC Now it sounds like RTTY!
0124 UTC Still going with what sounds like a cricket in sustained mode

I'm hearing this, presumed to be THX 1138 at 1528 UTC with an instrumental pyschedelic sounding tune until 1533 UTC, then silence
1537 UTC Piano composition now...

1542 UTC Sounds like "Young Lust"-Pink Floyd without the vocals
1545 UTC "You Shook Me All Night Long"-AC/DC
(Signal varies widely, fading in and out of the noise with S5 peaks...superb audio)

1552 UTC YL and OM spoken word...partial copy with the fades(sounds like a lady is yelling at the poor guy who wants to slap her face )Was this from "When Harry Met Sally"?

North American MW Pirate Radio / Re: 1710 kHz. Male and Female under Springfield TIS 2353 on..........

I'm about 3 miles from the Springfield Armory and this TIS is relentless 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They recently changed from an OM to a YL announcer with the looped message. Sometimes I hear something under this, and last night there was something there. Can't make out who or what because the TIS doesn't let up long enough to catch their breath....and now Springfield, MA will be adding on some more TIS as the Viaduct goes through some extensive rehabilitation. Along with the building of the MGM Casino here in 2016, it should be a real trial to negotiate around the highways and the downtown area of the city. I suggest coming in from the Mass Pike side if someone has business to conduct in the city....

2240 UTC Briefly came up for a bit...more orchestral music...not hearing any ID's at all though...
2242 UTC Hmmm...thought I heard an OM say something...
2243 UTC Heard a YL giving numbers in Spanish, then a YL said something
2244 UTC Some more weak music
2245 UTC Signal has picked up again...sounds like the same orchestral piece. Not sure what the Final Countdown sounds like
2248 UTC Hearing some talking
2252 UTC Music with vocals, then OM with "5,4,3,2,1" and more numbers
2255 UTC OFF or buried in the noise.....
