According to Wikipedia  (you can decide what its worth) here's the story:
The Curse of Rocky Colavito is a phenomenon that supposedly prevents the Cleveland Indians Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise from winning, be it the World Series, the American League (AL) pennant, reaching postseason play, or even getting into a pennant race. Its origin is traced back to the unpopular trade of right fielder Rocky Colavito to the Detroit Tigers for Harvey Kuenn in 1960. It was not claimed that Colavito placed the curse, and he has denied doing so. It is one of several curses believed to have stricken the city of Cleveland's major sports franchises for decades.

Kaline played for years with Rocky Colavito  in Detroit before Colavito went to Cleveland where in 1965 Colavito became the 1st (and still ONLY) player to play all 162 games in a season at one position (center field) without an error.

Sad but true.  Parallel axiom to a boatload of SW broadcast stations that don't broadcast anymore. Cause & Effect rears it's ugly head.  Who wouldn't want to hear an English broadcast out of  Radio Damascus today?  Or the TASS blather from Radio Moscow commenting on Crimea, Ukraine, Etc etc etc. .
And while we're  polishing the past and bitching about the present I'm still trying to figure out why my (now long gone) Kenwood R-600 with an Eavesdropper Trap Wave antenna outperformed anything I have today.

I was trying to identify the Christian radio broadcast on this frequency and all of a sudden this came on. Listening location was Barrie, Ontario, Canada @ 0518Z

This is same type of audio I chronicled in my March 15th post

https://youtu.be/J79YIYa0XCo

Anyone have any ideas about it or the original broadcast?
