Thanks!  ;D

2355 weak signal but copyable here. "Godzilla" Blue Oyster Cult. Thanks for the broadcast.
0105 OM with station ID and email, but not enough signal for me to catch it. Star Spangled Banner into presumed signoff.

3529
Tuning in at 2306, fair signal which is good for this time of day. Thanks for the show!

3530
0058 tuning in after dinner to some smooth jazz. Thanks for the show!
0218 still listening. Signal has been up and down but it's very good now.

Have a trace carrier that I'm centering at 6935.361, if anyone wants to really fine tune it. But no audio.

0301 Bump in the night, or did I just catch the tail end of something? Guess we'll have to wait til Chris S. reports.
0303 Back on, voices. Bits of music, not staying on long enough for me to fine tune. Off at 0304
0307 back on, voices. Seems about 6925.1 USB now. Off at 0309.
0311 back on, faint this time. Voices sound like recordings, not live.
0314 "Let's Have a War" Fear
0316 "Static Age" The Misfits
0317 "We Are 138" The Misfits
0319 OM voice, too faint to understand
0322 some death metal it sound like now.
0323 skit or fake ad that sounds like a takeoff on the "squeal like a pig" scene from Deliverance.
0325 Pabst Blue Ribbon ads
0326 "No Feelings" Sex Pistols
0329 off, or on another break

big signal. "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" BTO into "Linger" The Cranberries. Signal looks like Mix Radio.
0142 "No Time"  live version, presumable The Guess Who but shazam wasn't confirming that.
0148 "Tighter, Tighter" Tommy James
occasional ALE at 6908 USB hitting signal
0152 "Africa" Toto
0156 YL Mix Radio ID
0157 "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" Looking Glass
0159 QSY'd to 6900
0200 "Dream Lover" Bobby Darin (or maybe someone else... can't quite tell)
0201 signal took a big fade
0202 something happening but can't tell what anymore. Sounds like voice but that could be from adjacent peskie. Music heard.
0204 signal coming back a bit, song is "Bravado" by Rush
0207 "Couldn't Get It Right" Climax Blues Band
0210 Mix Radio ID into "Night by Night" Steely Dan (signal back to full strength)
0214 peskie qrm. "Outskirts" Bob Welch
going to just enjoy the show now. Thanks for being on the air!
...
0233 QRT. Last song was "Fly By Night" Rush

0121 Weak to fair signal out west. Thanks for the show!
0123 "Radio Humperdoo" clearly heard, OM speaking
0126 Hearing what I believe to be "Ob La Di, Ob La Da" by The Beatles.... OM singing it afterward
0131 music rising up enough for me to recognize Paul McCartney's voice but I can't place this song.
0134 Got enough to shazam tune as "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window" The Beatles
0135 nailed by OTHR

0046 Have been hearing this roughly for a while, and it's picking up strength as sunset approaches. Thanks for the unusual show!

Wouldn't surprise me, in a way.

I mean, look at the US and Cuba. They still jam Marti.

True, but our thaw was pretty short lived. Not much of a chance for them to make progress on the radio front.

WFED's night signal covers the entire eastern seaboard - every single coastal state. So it had to be them. Here in Denver I can get some 50 kW stations that are further from me than you are from DC in my car so there' no issue with that.

Shortwave Broadcast / Re: Unknown Broadcaster on 13.840 11:00 PM UTC
« on: September 13, 2018, 2253 UTC »
Hello all.  Have a question.  What station is it that broadcasts on 13.840 Mhz at 11:00 PM UTC.  The station was coming in fairly decent here into Portland, Oregon.  Could not get the name during the broadcast.

2300 UTC? That's Radio New Zealand International. (Thanks for using UTC, but please express it in the style of military time. UTC doesn't really do AM and PM.)

Noticed when I tuned over around 2205. It's still happening as I write this (2217 UTC).
