Heard while on a rare morning DX dog walk with Tecsun PL380.  Firedrake & Radio Taiwan were both fair strength. When I search for firedrake in local mornings I don't usually go down this low but today I just happened across it. It made me want to get some Chinese food but everybody was closed for Thanksgiving.

I tried to sleep in on what was the first weekday that I've had off in a long time but decided to check the pirate bands & was pleasantly surprised to find XLR8 with S9 signal. Unfortunately I tuned in at 13:06 & heard only about 90 seconds of the show.

Maybe its a mixing product of Radio Taiwan Russian service which is on 7465 from 17-18 utc via Issoudon.

First noted on VE6JY remote perseus in Alberta, Canada. I then checked on my Satellit 750 & 30 meter wire & found them fair to good, about S6. I have missed hearing VOR since the Moldova transmitter stopped a few months ago. I hear 9395,which is via Armenia, in Spanish during my local evenings but I never caught the English service that precedes it. English is on from 22:00 - 24:00 & will probably stop at the end of the year when VOR drops shortwave completely.

watching Twente websdr while I'm at work, carrier tests at 16:27 & comes on for good at 16:55. programming starts with cool afro music with brief announcment at 17:05. Into OM talk at 17:11,after which I had to leave. Signal on Twente was excellent. I'll check on my receivers when I (finally) have a few days off for Thanksgiving next week.

Checking via Twente on 11/22:
Very weak & unable to copy today. I really was digging the afro-tunes yesterday so this was a disappointment.

Interval signal was strong from 2:17z until S/O at 2:30 with News , press review & music show. Strong but poorly modulated signal.

Heard while walking the hound. ID at about 2:19z & music by that new band all the kids are excited about The Rolling Stones (with a silly name like that ,they'll never last).       
 Poor signal on PL660. I was unable to copy for more than a couple of minutes & the synch was unable to lock on the weak signal.

Heard with a pretty strong signal with some fades that caused the synch detector to unlock on my PL660 (which recently recovered from a cat pee incident). I tuned in just in time to catch the sign off at about 4:32z.

Or maybe I just lost him on my barefoot dog walking portable.....

I heard RML as I walked the hound, but I had my Tecsun PL380 as the radio du jour & was unable to do the whole SSB thing. The signal was coming in strong though as I didn't have the antenna extended at the time I did a scan of the pirate band at about 4:30z.

Good signal here with my newly "re-jiggered" antenna. Tightened & raised up higher. RFW is S8. Better than usual.

23:40  Doing very well now, S9+20, this is about the best I've ever heard RFW
