Music into Northern Ohio peaking up to S-3. No station id's but the operator identified himself on pirate radio chat.

Around 0300 some knucklehead started to broadcast over the music sounded like he was dialing a phone, and there was some yelling.

Station id at 0306

0311 moved to 6935 to get away from the knucklehead.

Just caught a short news story about killers eating their victims, seemed to go off in mid-story. Soylent Green isn't about the ecology.      Nice signal S-5 with some static off at 2258z.

« on: June 19, 2012, 0013 UTC »
Received a QSL card from WPON today in the mail. For their 6/11/12 broadcast. The card has two crossed rifles with a smartphone scanner square underneath the rifles. Will post the picture later (my scanner is broken).

How about that loose cable.

Thanks to Hazlett on Pirateradio chat a very weak unid station with talk and music but signal right at the noise level. Did hear mention of HFU. Should have put the time, at 0301 this is "??? Shortwave"

As per other DX-er's signal; is AM just sounded better in USB to me, fighting through the static.
