I tuned in at 1130 UTC to a tonal song. I couldn't figure out if it was a utility, someone testing, or? Then, I thought it must be a Northwoods Radio show of American Indian music...and it is.

Thanks for the show!

#1 WRAM, May 1983
#2 Radio Clandestine, July 2, 1983
#3 KQSB, August (I think) 1983

I wasn't listening to the radio at the time, but I did receive the SSTV. My copy wasn't as clear as this (even split the image in half between two different screens), but I could read the ID.

Weak here, too. Thought I heard a CM ID. Definitely heard 3 Dog Night "Mama Told Me Not to Come"

Thanks for the show!

Other / MARS ops on 6845U & 4458U

Just tuned in to a MARS net on 6845 kHz USB at 0000 UTC. Looks like 6840-6850 kHz should be avoided by pirates. While they were on, a few of them jumped down to 4458 kHz USB for an antenna test. I don't think that anyone's using 44XX kHz period, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Solid S9 sig here with good audio. Listening with the 6-kHz filter & sounds good. "Dueling Banjos," talk about drinking as a competitive sport, & instrumental bluegrass. Some pescador QRM underneath.

Thanks for the show & please QSL if you do that sort of thing

I don't have the audio file from overnight. I guess the voice transmission stopped long enough for the SSTV to be sent and not that another station sent the SSTV overtop of the transmission? BTW, I did have nice copy on the SSTV pic

Can't believe it ran all night! I recorded it, but ran out of disk space around 3 or 4 AM. Strong at 1100 UTC, but much weaker by 1200. I didn't think to check MMSSTV, but it was running, so I should have an image there of some sort.

Just tuned in to this a few min ago. Nice sig here with the same announcement repeating that I heard on Nov. 5 on 21450.7 kHz. This time, there was almost no gap between repeats of the phrases. On Nov. 5, there was an approx. 20-second gap of dead air between repeats. I have a recording starting at about 0359 UTC, if the op is interested.

Please QSL & thanks for the transmission!

Picked up the copies in New England on Monday, shipped some on the way home, more on Tuesday, and have the rest packed up to send today. Some of you should receive your copies today.
Thanks & have a great day!

I also received this one, but a good bit clearer. Thanks!

I missed the show, but the radio was on & MMSSTV was on, so I received the image. Qualitywise, mine looks pretty similar to Chris' pic. Thanks!

Thanks for the support. I've heard from the printer that it'll be ready on Monday, so we'll see. I'll try to get it out as soon as possible.

Have a great evening!

Huge signal with AC/DC, Supertramp, & Santana + a really long promo break with many audio clips. Varying between S9 & S9+10 with quick fades.
Thanks for the show!

Getting some bits of talk here. Decent carrier, but almost seems like periods of dead air. I think this is Metro Radio Int'l, but I'm not sure
