Witch City Radio was down here earlier with a Halloween story. Not sure if it's them with a repeat or someone else
Pretty weak for me, but thanks for the show!

Huge signal here with great audio, as usual. Lots of Halloween treats tonight!
Thanks for the show!

Excellent sig & audio with Black Sabbath & Iron Maiden songs.
Thanks for the show!

Nice signal here, first announcement backwards, then clear IDs. Death metal, & SSTV
Thanks for the show!

Weird. I had the radio up on 27700 almost all day and had some nice receptions, but I didn't get any of these

This is Galei Zahal (Israel Defense Radio) on 6885. I was listening to them earlier tonight. They were playing a cover of David Bowie's "Fame" in a different language (presumably Yiddish?). Really nice signal

Faint signal. Weaker than WPOD, but coming through. I'm hoping to scrape together enough details to send a decent report.
Thanks for the show!

Weak here, too. I heard a female electronic ID. Down under the noise, but great to hear WPOD again. I think it's been at least 8 months since I've heard the station.
Thanks for the show!

Hearing a few stations at once on 6925...data + a faint signal from a pirate that might be WAHR and strong occasional IDs from Twangy over the top. I've probably heard about 6 of the Twangy IDs so far

Really good stuff. I've seen lots of newspaper accounts about the "mass hysteria" and "the thousands of complaints" that were mailed to the FCC. All of these articles seemed to be from the major syndicates. Too bad no one (or at least very few reporters) wrote about what happened in their town. I guess the possibility of a hoax with no one fooled wasn't exactly considered newsworthy.

Yeah, living near the Appalachian Trail, I've often wondered about the possibility, range, etc. of some through hiker broadcasting with a low-power transmitter in the backpack & a tall whip antenna. If they operated live, it'd make for some interesting broadcasts.

Thanks Joe, Chris, & Skeezix. We'll see if I can come up with anything. Had a bunch of nice, clean "Spice FM" IDs at the end. From searching around, it appears that "Spice FM" is a popular slogan for stations in the Middle East. I was thinking that I might be better off contacting Spice FM directly, but we'll see.

Yeah, I don't do a lot of SWBC QSLing, but I occasionally try for one. I've probably only QSLed about 80 or so NASWA countries.

Chris: I guess he might've gotten his shoes if he'd've sent the request to you without the QSL   :)

Really nice signal today, with a variety of music. I know they QSLed a lot back around 1999-2001, but anyone know if they still do?

Nice sig here, starting at 0123, in fading with electronic & produced IDs and a variety of music.
Thanks for the show!

Good in QRM here. "Thriller" & "Twilight Zone" theme. Now Halloween SFX, with screaming, crying, creaking doors, etc.
