1210-1217: 6003 either jammed or I'm getting local QRM right on that frequency. 6250 definitely jammed. 6348 can be heard without any jamming. (But tough copy, little noise but little signal strength also.)

6107
0033-36 It seems that this transmission is being turned on and off repeatedly, like a kid playing with a light switch. No audio in AM, no apparent signal in USB, high pitched tone in LSB.

6108
2256 A loud high pitched tone just started. Anyone else hearing that? EDIT I'm set to USB at the moment.
2259 it just went away.

6109
Is it always 6925 khz, or does it hop around the pirate band like other transmissions?

EDIT: I answered my own question - so far it's always on 6925.

0255 just tuned in, classic big band music, but lots of QRM. S5, 333.

Is this the one that is usually on 6770kHz?
Is this this one? http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,27823.msg103474.html#new

What is the contact address?

No, different hobbyist.

It may be a matter of equipment (flexoman61 looks like a person in possession of high quality gear), but knowing that others have trouble pulling in Radio Cairo makes me feel better about not having heard it yet.

Listening now (0440z) on 15180 (all frequencies are rough tonight but this one's the least rough) and it sounds like a repeat of last night's show, talking about a submarine missile launch. Which is funny because I got to hear a few minutes this morning (9435) and I noticed that the music portion started in a couple of minutes earlier than last night, so it was a different, presumably newer program. Maybe they'll report on the Party Congress six weeks after it's over.

Coming in very well, S9 +20 with some fading. This is the Spanish transmission. Will the English broadcast at 0430 be as solid? We shall see.

EDIT
I stayed tuned into the 0430 program, and the signal has remained good, S9 +20 with some fading. This same broadcast is currently transmitting on 11735 (S9 with deeper fades) and 15180 (just barely audible). SIO 545.

0438 OM news reading about submarine test missile firings, with usual Cold War style editorial bombast.

I don't doubt it. That was a very strong transmission. Nice one!

Nothing is faster than the airwaves. I'm not sure if live TV is on a delay (possibly, ever since the wardrobe malfunction at least) or if there are delays from the relays they use now, but if you can get straight reception such as this, it's as good as being at the game.

Thanks for the great info Ron and T!

0025 Good signal, SIO 444, up to 555 at times. Some minor fading, but otherwise a very excellent signal. When I go to wide BW on the 750, I get S9 +20db (at narrow BW, the needle just sits at the bottom).

0026 Wolverine Radio ID into Benny Goodman, "Throwin' Stones at the Sun"

0131 OFF. The SSTV app on my iPhone didn't work the way it was supposed to.

It seems a lot of people like to indicate whether they're using Shazam or not. I almost always use it, because even when I know the song, half the time the title or artist is just beyond my overheated brain's ability to just say. So, this full disclosure for anyone who cares about such things.

Thanks much for the show Wolverine!
