Shortwave Broadcast / R. Voz Missionaria Off Frequency

As of like Monday night, the 25 meter band frequency as wandered on up to 11755 and stayed there. I wonder if its intentional/permanent or another problem?

About 2 months ago, I caught 11750 wandering between 11748 and 11757 in the span of a few seconds over and over all night and 9665 wandered as far away as 9673 a few years ago

Signal for this always solid and strong here, even though the modulation is often in the toilet akin to an undermodulated yet distorted charlie brown typesound

Join me for an hour today at 2100UTC for 250,000 Watts of rock, a little pop and tons of local Alaska info on Spaceline Bulgaria's 5900khz transmitter, broadcasting to Europe.

It's all part of my live, 3 hour KSKO Afternoon show from 12-3pm local/2000-2300UTC heard across Alaska and streaming at www.kskopublicradio.com.

I endevaor to make the Friday show especially upbeat with a variety of singalongable danceable feel good stuff as we get ready for the weekend!

Talk about screaming in.. 9700/7425/11725 just pile drive in here liek a ton of led bricks

These guys bomb in here quite regularly.. which is mildly surprising.

Bearing hearing middle eastern-y language of some kind around 18-20UTC or so here in Alaska, but nothing in Eibi, HFCC or WRTH. Not Kuwait.

I was the first one to report it on the NASWA email list (N Am. SW Assoc) or WRTH FB page.  Maunto Ritola with WRTH and I discussed it briefly and hes come back with Radio Omid Iran in Farsi via FRance. No time mentioend by him as to a broadastinng schedule.

Were going to do it again today, see you on the radio!

Pretty darn sure theyre off..... i havent heard them in months and months and months, and that was as of earlier this summer so i went looking for answers and published this story:

https://swling.com/blog/2025/06/another-one-bites-the-dust-in-brazil/

11815 was very regularly heard up here in Alaska

Yup... power just went kapoof. Happens arounds here. Town is powered by two giant diesel generators and one should auto start when the other runs down, but it doesnt always.   Power going out kills our webstream.  Picked a short short song to get us back on track when things came up

12
They are surprisingly regular here and better than youd think

Very good reception, Farsi Service, from Woofferton.  Looks like one portion of RFE/RL is back to work.  Nothing like a crisis to get transmitters humming.

1903 2 YL's rotating broadcast duties, musical transition a couple of minutes into reception
1911 "Iran" mentioned
1912 Musical transition, OM speaks

Check swling.com/blog with a post for a schedule.

They turned back on a week or two ago, same with Marti

One hour every Friday of my live afternoon show from KSKO 89.5 McGrath, Alaska is simulcast on 250,000 Watt Shortwave Outlet Spaceline Bulgaria on 5900... 2100-2200UTC.  A Loud Mouth With Some Kickin' Rock N Pop Music on SW, Live Every Friday!

The partnership between me and Spaceline Bulgaria is done for not much more of a reason than to offer something different on SW while having some fun. I pik out a smattering of 80s and 90s AC Gold/Pop Gold/Rock music and play it on my live afternoon show a.

If you can't hear it at home, many SDR's in Europe can.

ZERO company/station or personal money is spent on this.
