So far UNIDed station 6925 USB, 0400 UTC, 24 September, 2016.  Sounded like history talk, maybe WW II stuff, not sure, then into the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" at 0409 UTC.  Sounds off at 0412 UTC, no ID heard.

Signal was weak but copiable here.

So far unided station, 6930 kHz, USB.  Not very strong, having trouble IDing the music.

(edit) reported by others as XLR8, this is not even close to XLR8's normal signal for me.

So far UNIDed station on 6960 USB, strong signal, good audio although not as wide as say Drunken DJ.

(edit)  Several times now an announcer has come on and said "Urea.  U.  R.  E.  A.  Urea"  But that is it, no "radio" or "this is" or anything like that.  SO maybe Urea Radio?  Maybe not.

(edit)  Off at 0309z, just before they closed down I am pretty sure they said "U  R  E  A  Radio" as an ID< but by then the signal was down quite a bit and I could be mistaken on them adding the "radio" part.

All,

Until tonight I had not found the September 0300z frequency slots for the Tuesday and Thursday Asiatic M12 transmissions.

As normal, my most recent schedule for the Tuesday and Thursday Asiatic M12 can be found at:

http://www.tokenradio.net/Radio/SharedFiles/NumbersTfer/M12_TT_Pacific_latest_sched.JPG

The above link is default for the latest schedule I have online, whatever version that may be.  The newest specific schedule is Version 11.0, 2016.  The link to that version (identical to above version until the next schedule is out) is:

UNID (so far) station on 6925 kHz USB, noticed at 0213 UTC, June 12, 2016.

Signal is not strong, but I can tell it is music.  Sounds like older music, Big Band sound to it.

Spy Numbers / New V24 prediction chart, April 30, 2016
« on: April 30, 2016, 1427 UTC »
Based on observations since V24 re-started transmissions on February 14 I have put together a prediction chart.  For the first couple of months V24 appeared to be trying new things and has only settled into relatively stable operation for the last 6 weeks or so.

V24 appears to have narrowed its times of operation from past operations, repeated transmissions appear to only happen with start times from 1430z to 1600z.  There have been some transmissions before 1430z, however those appear to have been before V24 started using a repeating schedule.

V24 has changed the cycle that it operates on.  In the past it operated two days in a row with the same message at the same time on the same frequency.  So on day 5 of the month at 1500z on 5715 kHz a transmission would occur, and the next day, the 6th day of the month, the same message would be sent at the same time on the same frequency.  However now it no longer does this.  Instead now it waits a day between transmissions.  So that on the 5th day of the month at 1500z on 6215 kHz a transmission occurs, it skips the 6th day, and on the 7th day of the month at 1500z on 6215 kHz the same transmission is sent again.

My newest prediction chart can be found at the same place it is always at:

UNID station on 6928 kHz USB, 0258 UTC, APril 8, 2016.  Big band music.  Prior to that time this station was on 6925 kHz USB, and before that 6925 kHz AM mode.

If an ID has been sent I did not hear it.  At 0251 CW was sent, however I had the volume turned down and only turned it back up to hear the very end of the CW.

(edit) 0303 UTC moved back down to 6925 kHz, still in USB mode.

(edit)  Voice ID with email address at 0325, Radio Zed.

Please read the sticky at the top of this forum.  This is not a mystery signal, although it might certainly be a mystery network.
