So far unided spooky sound FX on 6955 kHz USB, 0128 UTC, October 29, 2016.  S7 or S8 here in the desert.

Into bells with beeps like heart monitor at 0131z.

(edit) closer to 6954.9 kHz, USB.

(edit 2)  Never got a verbal ID, but SSTV at 0154 had Pee Wee on the chest.

UNIDed station 6935 kHz USB, with music, 0055 UTC, October 29, 2016.  Very weak here, can tell it is music, but little else.  Seems to be lots of high tones in it, maybe pipes or something?

(edit) And off 2 minutes after I posted this.  It had been up quite a while, multiple songs, before that.

Another possible new ditter heard from.  7000 kHz, Oct 27, 2016, 1020 UTC, but I am pretty sure I have heard this at other times also, about 0.21 sec dit sent about every 1.39 second.  Periodically I see it send an extended dash, sometimes several seconds, as if it is hanging up.  There may even be some kind of modulation on it when it does this hang, but it is too far in the noise for me to be sure.

HF Beacons / New ditter maybe, 7000.68 kHz, Oct 22, 2016, 1700 UTC
« on: October 22, 2016, 1913 UTC »
There appears to be a ditter on about 7000.65 kHz.  I am pretty sure I have seen this ditter before, but it is such a long period and so weak I always thought it was noise / RFI / something else.  But today it is strong enough to be clear, this is not local noise.

It is a dit, about 0.17 sec long, sent every 22 seconds.  There is a very slight chirp on the dit.  The frequency at 1700 UTC was 7000.68, and at 1900 UTC it was 7000.63, so there is a little drift to it.

(edit) This signal has definitely been here for a while.  I have a recording from 2 weeks ago with it clearly present, and one from several months ago with what is probably the same signal in it.  I'll have to look back at older spectrum recordings, if I have any for that freq range, and see if I have any older that include it.

(edit2)  It turns out the 6990 to 7010 kHz range is not one I record often.  I have a recording from early October 2016 that clearly shows this ditter there.  I have a recording from July 2016 that clearly shows it present.  I have a recording from Feb 2016 that may show it, there is a lot of interference and I am not 100% sure.  And I have a recording from early Dec 2015 that does not show the ditter there at all.  So, at a guess this ditter showed up after early Dec 2016 and before July 2016, with a reasonable possibility of between early Dec 2015 and Feb 2016.

(edit3) This ditter can be heard on other remotes in California, and was also reported as heard in Washington state.

The oddity Pips network is up today, as it was yesterday.  Noticed it at 1403 UTC, 09 Oct, 2016, not sure how long it has been up today.  0.125 second long dit every 6.0 seconds.

(edit) This set off air at 1513 UTC.

So far UNIDed station 6925 USB, 0400 UTC, 24 September, 2016.  Sounded like history talk, maybe WW II stuff, not sure, then into the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" at 0409 UTC.  Sounds off at 0412 UTC, no ID heard.

Signal was weak but copiable here.

So far unided station, 6930 kHz, USB.  Not very strong, having trouble IDing the music.

(edit) reported by others as XLR8, this is not even close to XLR8's normal signal for me.

So far UNIDed station on 6960 USB, strong signal, good audio although not as wide as say Drunken DJ.

(edit)  Several times now an announcer has come on and said "Urea.  U.  R.  E.  A.  Urea"  But that is it, no "radio" or "this is" or anything like that.  SO maybe Urea Radio?  Maybe not.

(edit)  Off at 0309z, just before they closed down I am pretty sure they said "U  R  E  A  Radio" as an ID< but by then the signal was down quite a bit and I could be mistaken on them adding the "radio" part.

All,

Until tonight I had not found the September 0300z frequency slots for the Tuesday and Thursday Asiatic M12 transmissions.

As normal, my most recent schedule for the Tuesday and Thursday Asiatic M12 can be found at:

http://www.tokenradio.net/Radio/SharedFiles/NumbersTfer/M12_TT_Pacific_latest_sched.JPG

The above link is default for the latest schedule I have online, whatever version that may be.  The newest specific schedule is Version 11.0, 2016.  The link to that version (identical to above version until the next schedule is out) is:
