The figure/character/character calls (8AY) make me think MARS units, employing their region and suffix as their callsign, as do the freqs in use. The character figure character calls (G9V) are straight NATO tactical type. The two word calls like Poker Face or Top Hand may be NCA entities, NCA meaning National Command Authority.

Air to Air Refueling/training on 343.25MHz 1500Z 07Jun17, my guess is track 455/315 near TN/KY border however there's about 5 AAR tracks within range here. 61 and 63 doing contacts and breaking away from tanker.

Now if someone in cali would just do some radio privateering, the folks out west would have stronger sigs. I note that at times west of Nebraska seems to be a radio hole of sorts for those to the east, I suppose it's the reverse for those west of Nebraska. Nebraska, much as I love it, is a hole.

Lol am stereo in the car was great! My Dodge K Car had it built in, and when skip was rolling the station would start to rotate around the speakers making one dizzy as they tooled down the highway.
