According to RTI, only 15440 to NAm from 2200 to 2300Z.

6115 is 0300-0400Z.

15440 is 45344 S9 here at 2235Z.

Looked at a few of these and these are really great. I started listening in 1988 and wish I would've had them back then. Would love to see the ones from 1988-1993.

(BTW: ACE03-93.pdf is really March 1995).

In Sept 1993, they mention the old WRNO on 7355 & 7395, and 15420.

Hi Skeezix, Token's the man when it comes to this station and it's broadcasting habits. 

He knows a ton and freely teaches us all a thing or three. Nothing short of invaluable.

Last night (this morning, whatever you would call it, March 31, 2012, 0100 UTC) V07 sent a null message, no data.  When this family of stations sends a null it only sends 2 transmissions.  So it was on the air at 0100z on 18074 kHz, and at 0120z on 15874 kHz.  But it did not transmit at 0140z on 14374 kHz, as it would have if there had been a full message.

Ha. Figures. 

And thanks for that rather nice list of stuff in the other thread of current active numbers stations. While I already have the links, its nice to have it verified plus the swell list of stations suspected to still be active. Really want to pick up some E, G or S stations from my location. Used to be able to back in the late 80's - early 90's. These days, all I can get is ol' Pedro, and frankly, he bores me. The messages take way too long with that digital mode in there. I guess thats security through frustration.

I didn't try at 0100 & 0120Z (forgot about it until around 0135Z).

According to http://www.satdirectory.com/firedrake.html, they say that Chinasat 6B delivers the audio to the jamming sites. This would be consistent with hearing exactly the same audio on all of their transmitters.

I've also been trying to hear the Voice of Tibet, but so far have yet to hear them. The more elusive they are (or, more specifically, the more they're jammed), the more my curiosity is piqued. But only to a limit with them... they broadcast in Chinese and I only know one word: bing = disease (got that in a fortune cookie).

Token has a couple of great images he posted in another thread of spectrum over about 4.5 MHz of when the Firedrakes come on.

Word on street has it that the Chinese listen to the freqs and if there's a VoT broadcast, then they fire up their transmitters. Looking at Token's second image (since it was at the same time of my loggings in this thread), only 13530 looks like it may have had something on before it. And that was weak at his location.

Looked up 13530 at http://www.short-wave.info and they list Sound of Hope on there from 2000 to 1700Z. But, with 100W non-directional transmitters. Then looked them up on all freqs and they have a lot of 100W non-dir broadcasts. Unless the sun helps our F2 layer, not going to count on hearing them whether or not they're jammed. They also have some broadcasts at 100 kW and 300 kW going to the NW. Perhaps a chance of hearing those. Not giving up on the 100W ones, as that may be generic info to fill in something unknown or they may find another transmitter. Perhaps they can borrow Wolverine's...

Thanks Token, those are great images, especially the one from today which I also logged and compared to yours. You heard a couple that I didn't.

Have noticed the audio being synchronized (when listening on multiple receivers), but never was able to catch them as they started. Also reinforces the point to keep searching even after several have come on.

What did you use to record that wide of a spectrum?
