I got a bearing on it from the vicinity of Peoria, Illinois. It's to the southwest, approximately peaking at 230-240 degrees. Another southwest desert mystery beacon?

It's pretty loud in this area - S5 to S7 on my loop at home and well over S9 on a 40m beam.

Zack

It's about S5 to S7 here right now (~0630Z). Some QSB but not deep.

Maybe this weekend when I have a 40 meter beam at my disposal I can get a bearing from here if it's still active then.

OK thanks. I was wondering if that was the case. I'll keep on listening.

We had a line of thunderstorms move through here starting about 8 pm that made shortwave reception almost impossible. I think it's about the end of the winter season.

Great signal here also as usual, S9+20 on peaks. Playing "The Joker" by Steve Miller Band at 2340Z.

Thanks! Has the TMP beacon changed frequency? That may explain why I haven't been able to hear it on ~4079.

Token, you're a lot closer to them than I am. Can you tell which ones are still active?

Just out of noise. I can tell it's there and that is about it.

Signal not bad, S5 - S7. Virtually no QSB.

Sounds like playing all Dylan songs.

Signed off at 0130Z with some chatter about it being cold, etc.

Thanks Rave On Radio!

Do I get a QSL?

Sounds like Commander Bunny talking about the monkeys. Not very strong here, S4, lots of QSB.

Talking about the Rodent Revolution.

ID as WBNY at 0638Z.

I have to say the music is excellent. I have been doing some other projects and just listening, not taking notes. Now playing China Cat Sunflower by the Grateful Dead.

(I'm an old Deadhead.)

I believe it's a live version of the song.

0105 SSTV/signoff.

Thanks Radio Ga Ga!
