0205+ Nice, steady (mostly) S7 signal here with dance music.
Thanks for the show!

Heard it here, too. On & off with dead carrier & audio at times. Fair or fair/good here. Please ID?
Thanks for the test!

Weak; Not much audio making it here.
Thanks for the show!

Only a carrier audible here

Checked the radio & had a carrier & a tiny bit of audio. Played around with AM, USB, preamp, etc. and went back to USB & the carrier was gone, so either fade out or QRT at around 0300.

Thanks for the show, even if I didn't really hear anything!

North American Shortwave Pirate / XYZ SSTV 6925 11/24/12
« on: November 24, 2012, 1622 UTC »
While I was away for Thanksgiving, I left the receiver on & had two SSTV images from XYZ on my computer when I returned home last night. One said Happy ------- de XYZ" and the other was simply "XYZ." I didn't see that anyone else had logged this one, so I felt I should post it. No idea if any programming went along with the images. I think the timestamp on the one was 0245, but the clock on my recording computer doesn't keep time. I guess this is the same station that was last on with digital modes on 1/18/09?

Thanks!

Thanks much for the show!

I agree on the Specials. "Radio Free ---" but my ears/brain aren't good enough for the last word. Maybe Bag?

Tuned to an open carrier after the 6930-kHz station went off. Carrier was pretty strong, but the audio that eventually came on (assuming that the dead carrier and the station with the music were the same) was a bit weak and very tough to copy. I agree that the band's noisy tonight.
Thanks for the show or test!

Here with a fair signal. Just caught the end of the transmission.
Thanks!

Decent signal here, clear IDs, currently talking about not wanting to go see a band play that has no original members, etc.
Thanks much for the show!

My clock is off on my recording computer, so I'm not quite sure what time this came thru, but it was a single SSTV image for "----- USA, the 11 meter gorilla." DEcent copy, white on a black background with an image of a gorilla. Pretty interesting--had to doublecheck that I hadn't left the radio on 27700 kHz  :)

Thanks for the image...

Audible here, but I have something like S7 local noise on 1710, so I can't really copy anything--even though I can hear Dr. Benway's voice.
Thanks for the show!

Pretty decent signal here with acoustic blues at 0320.
Thanks for the show!
