You also need safety glasses to protect your eyes from the whip antennas attached to the mil spec HF manpack rigs that thoughtless dorks insist on wearing in the shoulder to shoulder crowd. And gum boots in case there's another Brown Trout migration from the washrooms.

I was there last year, wish I could go again but it's simply too far from here. Dunno if you've ever been before but if not here's a piece of advice: if you see something you want deal on it immediately. If you hope to keep moving in hope of finding a better example or to come back later the item WILL be gone.

To paraphrase the banditos in Treasure of the Sierra Madre: "Cups? We don't need no steenkin' cups!"

Heard the SSTV here very well but no decode software.

About S-3 in Northern Canada with a Beastie Boy song being played. When I heard Ad RocK had died I fired up Licence to Ill this afternoon. Great to hear some pirate tribute, as well!

Mostly a carrier in northern Canada but I can catch brief snatches of programming.

A pretty fair signal, about S-3 over S-1 noise. I recognized the voice as soon as I tuned in. Always great to hear the Cap'n!

Geez. I dunno what to say. The Beasties were freakin' AWESOME at a time when most music sucked hard. And he was way to young. Damn.

Pretty fair S-3 copy in northern Canada. Had a few fades but pretty steady copy for over an hour.

I could hear it about S-2 to S-3 on a noisy band.

Fairly steady S-3 signal into northern Canada tonight. Their modulation quality is always great for SSB.

Nice signal into Northern Canada. Just heard The Bangles "Walk Like an Egyptian".
Always great to hear and old friend!

Weak in northern Canada. Heard OM announcer mention "...WXYZ..." and I was hoping it was the I.D. until I saw postings here.

I have them under the noise in Northern Canada although the signal appears to be building. I'm hearing a bassy, repetitive kind of techno dance beat but I can't I.D. it. I'm a metal head.
Would be a nice signal if the band wasn't so noisy here.
